Ernie's Affordable Auto Salvage

Needed a rear differential for my truck. Called here and another used parts place in the area. $1000 quote from each place. Now, I know you have to match the right differential when replacing on a 4x4, that’s simple mechanics. Just look at label inside glove box. The codes tell you what gear ratio you have. So thinking that was a bit too much money for a used rear, I stopped at a couple U Pull It shops in the area. Bingo. Found exact fit. $140. Paid a guy there to pull it. He charged me $60. Bought all new bearings and seals. $85. Swapped out in a day. If I had bought these at $1000, I still would have had to buy new seals and bearings as they don’t provide these things. Do the math and search around. You can save yourself a lot of money.

Was a little hesitant because I was out of state ordering over the phone without seeing anything, but the parts came in and looked/worked great. I bought a wheel and a tail light for 100$ less then what the dealership would of charged for just the tail light. I will recommend this place to anyone

This place on the SE corner of Lake Worth and Military tr has since come under new ownership in May of 2012. They're incredibly knowledgable and curtious sales people are very qualified. Ernie (the new owner) is the original owner of the place from 25 years ago and is back to serve the community with his son Mike who has been in the auto parts business for Ernie at his other yard in Boynton Bch on Military tr for 20 plus years. Quality used auto parts at much lower prices than normal. MUCH BETTER PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!

We were fortunate enough to be told about your company by a friend when my

husband broke the interior door handle of our recently purchased Toyota Camry.

We were greeted by Anthony who said that they had one is stock and could actually get it fitted while we waited (which we expected to wait some time for). As most of the people were busy in the store Anthony said he would do it for us, which he did. The job was done in about 15 minutes, and his attitude throughout was very professional. The price we paid was a lot less than we would have paid in a garage and my husband who has been a Chauffeur in UK for most of his working life has high praise for this. Many thanks Anthony.

I stopped into Affordable Auto Salvage on a whim several months ago, because I was working on decorating a bedroom for a young man with a developmental disability. The young man LOVES cars and I was trying to find things I could hang on the walls of his room. I casually told Lenny, the man who was working in the store the day I walked in, what I was looking for. He pointed me towards some bins of parts and sent his coworker into the slavage yard to get an engine part he thought could be hung on a wall. After I had selected about 8 expensive wheel covers, Lenny packed them in a bag and told me I didn't owe him anything.



Stopping in at Affordable Auto Salvage was such a pleasant experience. If I was actually looking for a part for my car, I would not hesitate to go to there for a second....they proved to me that they are genuine, honest, and upstanding people.

I SPENT WEEKS TRYING TO FIND A HUBCAP FOR MY JEEP.I VISITED AFFORDABLE AUTO SALVAGE AND DANA PERSONALLY ASSISTED ME AND FOUND MY CAP AND THEN CAME OUT TO MY JEEEP TO INSURE IT WAS THE RIGHT ONE AND INSTALLED IT FOR ME.. THEY GO ALL OUT TO PLEASE A CUSTOMER. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! THANKS DANA!

I was very happy with the beautiful facility, so clean and friendly and a large selection of car parts. Hard to believe I was at a Salvage location. Our salesman, was very knowledgable, courteous and accomodating to us. He quoted me the best price over the phone for our back tail light compared to everywhere else I called. The light is in perfect condition and was less than half the price I would have paid for it new. Car parts can cost a fortune new, so I would definately call again next time I need something.

i came in and i spoke with a young man named Paco very nice outgoing guy, he helped me with my 1993 Toyota Camry. Paco knew a lot about these cars i was surprised when i realized he knows more about my car than what i know. Affordable Auto Salvage is the place to go if you are looking for help and knowledgeable staff this is the place to go. it's worth every penny.

I have a Kia and my transmission completly broke i called around and kept getting price quotes from 600.00-1500.00 used or rebuilt. I called up affordable and got my used tranny with 20,000 miles for 300.00 with a 60 day warranty. But when I took it to my mechcanic he said there was a internal wire missing, Affordable had no problem switching it out for me. I have had the tranny in for 6 months now and it runs like new.

I called looking for parts for my truck. They said there used, there is no guarentee and they cant be returned if they DONT WORK. Not to mention they were charging nearly DEALERSHIP prices for USED CRAP Avoid this place at all cost. There located on military just south of Lake Worth Road.
