I hired Hays Law Center in December of 2010 for a mortgage Modification.I made the mistake of signing up online before I did my research.When I did, I wanted to back out.I then started receiving threatening calls of suing me for the money.I felt I needed to proceed as I did need to do this.So I paid them.For the full Year of 2011.I gave them Document after Document.and there was always something else they needed.Then they threatened to cancel me because the file was open to long.I stayed up all night a few times gathering the things they said they needed.Not one person I dealt with there helped me with this process.Hays did nothing for me but waste my time and money.I do not recommend anyone to use this firm.

We hired Hays Law Center also and it's been 3 or 4 months now and they keep asking for more pay stubs etc. and stating they did not get some paperwork when they did. Have not heard from them and they have a least $3,000 to $4,000 of our money which they were supposed to help. Received a letter from a lawyer stating they were starting the foreclosure process and we are tied up in knots about this fearing we are going to lose our home due to scam of Hays Law Center. Left a message begging them to call me back but no response as yet, and we will have to find another ways to try and save our home.

I'm taking a second to write this review because THANK GOD I read the other reviews before I signed HAYS paperwork and would have been scammed out of $3500!!! These smooth talking scammers have it down good!!...the 'guarantee' of a home loan modification, not having to pay your mortgage and keep the money...ALL BULL S__T!!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE THIEVES!!! You can do your OWN loan modification! Just contact your lender or WWW.MAKINGHOMEAFFORDABLE.COM and talk to a FREE loan counselor! Also make sure you call the HUD scam hotline!!! We hired Hay Law Center them to do our loan modification to stop the forclosure process on our home in New Jersey and the process is not stopped as they told me they would do. After several times of trying to get help from Bank of America we are in the forclosure process with limited time before a Sheriff's Sale and hired Hays to help prevent that from happening. We are stilll waiting to hear from Hays on what we need to do to stop the foreclosure from happening but have not gotten a response from them. I will update when or if we hear from them.

Supposedly we have been working with this place for a modification of our house payment. They have taken our money each money (for 3 or 4 times) and we really are not any better. The lender (or their attorneys) plan to take us to court i next month. Hays Law Centre has really not helped. They don't respnd to emailes, phone calls, message on their website, absolutely nothing. They say our modification is complete. But I found out today that our Lender has refused our payment again. So what are we supposed to do? We are due to appear in court in a matterr of weeks. I'm so upset above this, I don't know what to do. I've taken my valium, but I'm still so upset that I can't I don't know what to do.
