Our board-certified medical professionals can also conduct physical exams for work, school and sports, administer vaccinations and immunizations, and perform occupational medicine physicals. Dr. Baniewicz is a 1987 graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed a transitional internship at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in 1988 and his residency in internal medicine at Akron General Medical Center in 1990. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians and a master’s degree in bioengineering at the University of Utah. Dr. Baniewicz is a certified Medical Review Officer, Oil and Gas United Kingdom Specified Examining Doctor, and a DOT-FMCSA-certified Medical Examiner.

By choosing urgent care, you can avoid the expense and long waiting periods of hospital emergency rooms and the wait usually involved in appointment scheduling with your family physician. All urgent care patients are attended to by our board-certified medical professionals. In the event that X-rays are required, they are conducted in-house by our state-registered radiology technicians.

In addition to orthopedics, we provide comprehensive occupational health services for employers and employees, including orthopedic injury care with our orthopedic specialist when necessary. Hand Surgery
Dr. Gidman is a 1973 graduate of LSU Medical School and a 1978 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Orthopedic Program. He completed two fellowships in hand surgery with Dr. Dan Riordan, M.D. in New Orleans, La. and with Dr. Robert Horner, M.D. in Denver, Co. Dr. Gidman has been a Certified Independent Medical Examiner by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners since 1996. He also is currently a fellow in the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a DOT-FMCSA-certified Medical Examiner.
