Repeat Boutique

Had a baby with me and didn’t look like their typical customer I guess I was told I couldn’t have a stroller or shopping cart inside verysnobby little did they know I’m a doctor and had plenty of money to spend but thank you for judging.

As a mother of 2 boys, never had a lot of money to shop for my wardrobe. I mainly shopped thrift stores for my clothing. One day I wandered into Repeat Boutique and wow. For what I payed in thrift stores, I could afford nice designer items instead. I can take favorite pieces in the store, the incredibly Helpful staff immediately jumps in and pulls items to match my clothing. Can't say enough nice things about this store. Thank you all so much for your help. I now have a great closet without having spent a fortune.

Repeat, Etc. is the store that consigns decorative items and furniture. Repeat Boutique is the clothing store. I have always experienced wonderful service at Repeat Boutique, the clothing consignment store, but look out for Repeat, Etc.! I took in a Pottery Barn duvet and shams set, a Crate & Barrel duvet set, a Nambe photo frame (retail $75) and some handpainted Italian pottery bowls (retail $85), among other high end items, to consign. The two elderly ladies (they have to be in their 80s)who run the place were very rude to me because I brought them in at 3:10 p.m. They do not accept consignments after 3pm because they said they need time to decide whether or not they "wish to accept the items." They close at 5pm and there were no other customers in the store. Looking around I should have known better - there were out-of-date wall hangings, numerous crystal bowls, gaudy gold mirrors, English hunting-themed art, and 1980's furniture. The ladies kept on and on about how I needed to "be mindful" of their check-in time, etc. I told them I would come back later, but they said it was fine since I was already there. One of the ladies kept going on and on about it. I was so offended by the way they spoke to me and looked down their noses at my things that I told them I had changed my mind about consigning with them. Then they tried to argue with me. I ended up walking out. It was an upsetting experience. I would recommend Consign to Design on Kingston Pike next to Oasis Spa. They are very friendly and above all, flexible.
