There's some good but a lot of bad too. Let's start with the good. The setting and scenery is absolutely gorgeous. The pond and old barn along with the trellis really make this place a great setting for a wedding. I'm sure we got some amazing pictures and people absolutely loved the setting. The food that the owner served

for breakfast was great. She put out some fresh fruit and donuts or rolls as well. We were allowed to decorate the trellis and barn any way we liked so it was good that there were no restrictions on that.



Now to the bad. The owner was visibly very intoxicated on Friday night to the point that she could not walk on her own and had her son help her walk to the back house where she was staying. So, because of this our 9 am breakfast turned out to be about a 9:45 am breakfast. This would not be a huge deal if you were just there to relax for the weekend but we were there for our wedding so all of our time was valuable. The owner proceeded to get intoxicated again on Saturday afternoon but this time she was drinking our beer and wine from the reception. I really am not one to get upset about such things but I feel this was really unprofessional. Getting intoxicated and drinking our alcohol. It doesn't seem to me that because you own the B&B that you are automatically invited to our ceremony and reception. It would be a bit better if she would have asked if she could be around during all of this but she did not. Also, her son was taking pictures of our ceremony and us after the ceremony. It was just a little weird. So while she was drinking our alcohol and eating our food it turns out she was bumming cigarettes from many of our guests there too. I didn't know it at the time and very glad I didn't. We were also promised 2 flushable port-o-toilets at the side of the barn as well for our reception. Those never made it. There was one small bathroom

in the barn that everyone had to share. If it weren't for the great setting I feel our wedding weekend could have been really derailed by an owner that can't stay sober when she has a business to run and feels our friends and family are her own cigarette supplier. For the prices she charges to rent out the B&B rooms themselves and then

another hefty price to use the place for a wedding I expected MUCH MUCH more professionalism and hospitality. We would not recommend this place for a wedding.
