Rude Dr.

Dr. Fischer was not a bad character but his foul language set me back a few moments, though I laughed at his crude jokes I was cringing inside everytime he cursed. He was kindof put offish and not personalable in a patient/Dr. kindof way. He was rude in the way he talked to me about the shape my teeth are in and left the room with out reassuring me that everything would be taken care of. I suggest he become more professional in the way he speaks to his new patinets and show more sympathy.

Bridges
Partial Dentures are an econmical alternative to fixed bridges. Many times we are able to make a good removable appliance that restores chewing capabilities while still giving good esthetics. As you see here a gentleman presented with a less than esthetic smile, we were able to fabricate a natural looking partial, that functions quite well. A new alternative in partials dentures is the flexible partial. I have found that these partials do not live up to the long term, and only consider them for tempories.

Root Canal Treatment
We do crowns on Teeth that are Cracked or have Large fillings to stop them from Breaking, and to reduce the Risk / Need for a Root Canal. Sometimes when they break there is no other choice than to extract the broken tooth.Once broken Crowns are usually indicated to once again give that tooth the strength needed to chew again.

Dentures
Tomorrow morning, take our your denture and clean it with a denture brush and water, then put denture back in your mouth. Avoid leaving your denture out longer then 10-15 minutes at a time during the first four days following extractions. This is due to swelling that may inhibit the denture from going back into place. If it doesn't go into place, leave it out. when the swelling goes down we will be able to refit the denture.

Dental implants are a surgical procedure where an oral surgeon places a screw like post in the jawbone, that serves as the roots of missing teeth. After the post is inserted and healed, an oral surgeon can then create an artificial tooth around the post. Implants are made of titanium, which naturally fuses with your jawbone. An impression is taken to make a specialized "Mouth Guard" or "Stent" to hold the bleach against the teeth. The material is used each night for about 3 - 8 hours while you sleep for 7 - 14 days; and at the end of this time, major smile whitening will have occurred. In some cases, the change is nothing short of brilliant. For confidence in appearance, bleaching technology allows us to promise improvements in yellowing, ageing or stained teeth. Whitening occurs by the Carbamide Peroxide breaking down and releasing oxygen that enters the enamel and dentin then bleaches the colored substances of the crystal matrix. The structure of the tooth is not changed only the color. Your teeth will always be lighter than they were. However, some patients may need periodic re-bleaching or " touch-up " treatments for one or two nights every couple of months to once a year. For very severely stained teeth, crowns or veneers may be more appropriate. Some bleaching systems use a Higher concentration of bleach to whiten in 20 - 60 minutes, these bleaches do whiten faster. To get the whitest of teeth one needs to let the bleach soak down deep into the dental structure for the longest time possible, like overnight if possible. This way we get a natural white looking tooth.

Dental Bleachings can be used to correct many tooth discolorations. Staining, ageing, or chemical damage to teeth may have caused these discolorations. Using the latest in bleaching technology, we offer a safe method for creating a Beautiful Brilliant smile. In our office, we choose the Opalescent bleaching materials by Ultradent. This method has been proven to be the most effective, the least short term disadvantages are encountered. Some people get sore gums or teeth from the bleach, but this always disappears after stopping the bleach use. Bleaching is not 100% predictable, no matter what anyone says. World research would indicate that bleaching is totally effective in 80 % of the people, but it is impossible to accurately tell whom it will work for. In cases of extreme tooth discoloration, bleaching may not be the answer, Crowns or veneers may be the only choice. Because of the low cost of bleaching treatments, bleaching is nearly always worth a solid try. Bleaching is a cost effective way to bring Cosmetic Dentistry to everyone.
