I'm leaving a full review for this car dealer with the help of my husband. WE needed a good running car for cancer surgery. .

We look at his cars, all have high miles 150000+ so we leave our number, budget price. We get the call week or two later, dealer says he has a beauty low miles ready to go. My husband asks 2 questions, price which he gives, is the timing belt done, 105 miles most models have to be done or car is not serviced properly, he says yes

We went and looked and the car looks like it has been sitting for years, and then we take it for a test spin and it has a few fixable issues we see then the check engine light kicks-on and the dealer says don't worry the car will be ready to go in a few days. His car is 300 hundred over our budget and we see it needs tires immediately so he took off $300 so we met our budget but now need tires.

A week has passed and no car and no call, so we call the dealer and he says he was going to call us. His mechanic broke lugs on another car and had to fix. Then he says in a few days the car will be ready. Another week passes and we call him and he says he was going to call us and mentions something about the evac, not passing inspection and had to wait for a part. So now we mention we need this for cancer surgery at Vassar and if it isn't ready soon we will have to rent a car.

Few days later the car is ready and I give my husband the money and he goes gets the car. Car is clean inside, except for door jams, roof rack, and engine compartment. Also the engine had many nuts from squirrels or other rodents living in there. The dealer said he cleaned outside personally, so it would be ready and then he said original owner had a dog.

After a few days of driving the car we noticed the parking light was out, the heat shield rattled and would wake the dead, and also the check engine light came on (evac and will haunt us). Called dealer he says for evac tighten cap and unhook battery which worked for a bit, and we asked about the dog smell especially on sunny days and he recommends some cleaner he uses, but he's out of it.

My husband did make an appointment to see the dealer and asked about tree nuts in engine and dealer said nothing you can really do, then asked about heat shield rattle and dealer said cant you get under the car and check it, then dealer said the parking bulb he can do something with but never did.

The dealer did worry us, so my husband called asked for the receipts for timing belt and he said he'll have to find them. Then we called again and says he can't find them, then he says the dealership guy he gets the cars from said it was done, we asked can you prove the timing belt was done yes or no, he said no. We offered to pay timing belt parts and him do labor and he said sure but ignored us to the warranty ran out. We bought new tires and had timing belt done by a professional mechanic and this put us way over budget.

We Remove one star for stressing us, waiting over 2 weeks for our car before cancer surgery.

We Remove one star for this dealer telling my husband can't you jack up the car get under and check the rattling heat shield. Also for not fixing the tail light bulb that was out, also telling us his mechanic went on vacation and having the useless month warranty run out on us.

We Remove one star for dog smell that doesn't want to go away and comes on sunny days.

We Remove one star for his car detailing/ leaving hundred or more nuts in the engine compartment also not changing wires or plugs which were bad..

We would Remove all stars if we could for dealer saying the timing belt was done when it was not and going to send us on our merry way to cancer surgery/ from radiation recovery with an improperly serviced car.

Car did get us back and forth for our endeavors after immediate servicing and is still running but passing inspection next time there will be a evac problem. You decide if this dealer is for you.
