Alpine Terrace

Nobody likes to have their parents institutionalized, and no one else can take as good care of your parents as you can yourself, but if you must find an institutional setting for a loved one, Alpine Terrace is not a bad place. I have two parents there, in Kerrville TX. My family is satisfied with the care they receive (for the most part). Most of the staff are considerate and caring. I receive a call from the administrator or head nurse whenever there is a problem. They don't hide problems, they address them. The facility could use some updating, and the food is not very good. I have researched many other places, and their nursing rates are just about the lowest anywhere. On balance I would recommend it.
