Overall

I have noticed a lot of reviews from the same people as I see on Google and Yelp. I want to say how much this shop helped me out! They were amazing and I would never go to another place. My car was hit from behind and the insurance company tired to scam me over. Jack Harris Autobody actually called the insurance company so that my car would start getting worked on. I will recommend this place to everyone that I know.

Heard about this from a friend who used to use Jack Harris for auto work. I will never go back. Took me forever to get some help. The technician looked at the scratch on the back bumper that was smaller than a half dollar, no dents and quoted a total of 12 hours to fix it. Forget it... You're not scamming me. I'll go elsewhere.

Worst place I've ever been to. Ever since Jack handed the business down to his sons, Rod and Brett, the service has been awful. I got a new paint job on one side of my truck (which took 7 1/2 weeks) and it was AWFUL. I asked them to fix the paint and Rod threw a fit. A few week later I came back and he was very angry and threatening. Then I also noticed some new scratches in the brand new paint in the shape of a ":(" sad face before it had even left the shop.Such a shame to see what used to be the best auto body shop get taken over by a bunch of jerks.

I never write bad reviews and I have thought about this for about three months, but the damage to my car and the poor repair job need to be stated. First I use to bring my cars and loved th service, apparently in the ten years or so since I've been gone things have really taken a turn. My car was hit and needed some minor body repair. The lady was not helpful from the start and basically informed me that my insurance wouldn't cover costs etc. They do and did, this is when I should have gone elsewhere but I didn't. After a back and forth on that all was ready. I come in to get my car and it all looks fine on the outside, but upon closer review the repair work was shoty. They had done a quick filler job instead of fixing the car. Get anyone to call me back loved futile and so I've gone elsewhere. Literally the worst place I've been so far. Thank goodness for Maaco in layton.

I also live and work very close to this shop. I had slight damage done to my 2014 Subaru STI on the bumper cover on the highway by a Semi Truck trailer. Geico said there was about 1500 dollars worth of damage to the car.

Well, I dropped my car off and two weeks later I go back to get it and notice huge run marks in the bumper cover where there was no previous damage or even run marks (we have the pictures from Geico), I pointed it out to them and several other flaws in the repair of the cover.

First I was told it needed to be sanded down further to leave it there, 2 1/2 weeks later I go to pickup the car, now the same run marks are still their but theres additional painting flaws around the license plate holder, there is silver over spray on the radiator showed. Then I was told because the cover was

Previously painted and had clear bra on it that was why there is run marks in it that in order for it to be perfect I needed to purchase and provide a new unpainted bumper cover. While the car was there I asked them to repaint and repair the trunk lid from a scratch that I put into the car to be paid for as a second unrelated repair job to the damaged bumper cover, I received the car back with the identical scratches in the trunk, after the above noted 2 1/2 weeks of waiting the SAME things are still there. Like the other reviews state, they do HORRIBLE quality work, they consider large run marks in paint “okay”. AVOID these guys you would likely get a better paint job from a crack head.

I've neglected to write a review about this organization for nearly a year because I was in denial that a company would actually do this to a paying customer, especially a customer whom is a close neighbor to the Harris family. Consequently, as I suspected my repairs were hands down some of the worst work I've ever seen. They were supposed to replace the front bumper cover, and instead, pounded the dent out and repainted it. Certainly, I couldn't tell until the bumper started falling off three months later only to suspect that it was the exact same bumper cover, and the insurance paid them for a re-manufactured new one. Furthermore, the headlights, markers, and inner fender liner was were falling off, and the the bumper cover didn't line up properly. This makes sense when considering the mounting holes were broken off in the impact, and the exact same bumper is on my vehicle. Lastly, the fender emblem was not replaced, but left in my cup holder along with all the dust from the body shop, and a few misc parts I noticed that were not replaced that were an interference component.



It was brought to my attention recently because I finally had enough with the bumper cover falling of and took it to another facility to have replaced. It was there they confirmed what I though all along that I was blatantly ripped off and a victim of poor quality workmanship.



Sure, mistakes happens and some things slip through the cracks. I'll give any organization the benefit of the doubt at least once, but I'll never return to the place of business, and most certainly never recommend it to anybody from this point on. A successful business creates value through return customers, not by taking their money and run.

I've used Jack Harris for many...

I've used Jack Harris for many years, for little things. This last time I had them replace the window regulator in my Mitsubishi. They did it the same day. They cleaned my car and the tape gunk that I had been using to hold up my window. In this day, when most business customer service is very poor, these guys go the extra mile! I was very impressed and I highly recommend Jack Harris Auto for any auto-body work.

This place was terrible. When ...

This place was terrible. When they called and said it was ready I got there, and the trim piece below the door hadn't been touched. It was still all scratched up, they hadn't even looked at it. There was also a very bad run in the paint on my door. They charged my insurance for a new rim, and they didn't even put it on. I took it back, and after the second time it looks like everything was fixed. This shouldn't happen. It should be done right the first time. Obviously this place does not care about customer service. They just want your money.

sloppy work at best

I was in an accident recently and my insurance reccomended jack harris. I also had heard good things. But in the end they did not align it correct, got clear coat on the winshield driver and passenger windows, Got primer on the door and hood, left the broken hub cap on there, Left the damaged tire in the car, and took a very long time to do so. DONT GO THERE!!!! trust me
