Founded in 1967, Industrial Spring Corporation of Kansas City is a custom manufacturer of high quality mechanical springs and formed metal products, located in a newly expanded 25, 000 sq. ft. facility in Riverside, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. Industrial Spring Corporation of Kansas City is dedicated to building long term partnerships with our customers, owners and suppliers by exceeding their expectations for quality and services. Our vision is to be considered a leader in our industry by our customers, suppliers, and our owners because of our culture. You will notice words mentioned in our Mission Statement and Vision Statement like "Exceeding Expectations" and a different "Culture" at Industrial Spring. Two programs have been implemented to change the culture of our company to one that totally focuses on customer satisfaction and exceeding the customer's expectations. If you look at many other web sites for the spring industry you will notice that many are family or single owner companies. That isn't bad, but we feel there are advantages for you when dealing with Industrial Spring Corporation of Kansas City, an employee owned company. Employee Ownership In 1991 we began the process of becoming an employee owned company through an ESOP program, (Employee Stock Ownership Program). The company became 100% employee owned in 2006. Every employee, from the person that quotes your requirement, to the person that ships your completed order and everyone in between, is an owner and has a direct stake in your satisfaction as a customer. We feel that this gives our customers an added benefit not found with many of our competitors. Whether the employee is responsible for order entry, coiler set-up, quality control, or shipping, each employee is strongly concerned about the total satisfaction of our customers because your satisfaction with Industrial Spring Corporation of Kansas City is what will make their company grow and prosper. In an effort to continually improve our customer service, an Incentive pay plan was implemented in March 1998 to address the areas of On-Time Delivery, Quality, and Productivity. This plan rewards employees for outstanding performance in these areas and the benefit is passed directly on to our customers. As inventory cost control becomes more and more important you can be assured that you will receive your order when you expect it, not when we got around to shipping it, and not sooner than you wanted it. You expect to receive components that are fully to your quality expectations. The goal of each person that works on your order is to exceed those expectations. As productivity improvements are made, we become more efficient and able to give our customers a more competitively priced product.
