The Heart of America Surgery Center is an independent, nonprofit ambulatory surgery and pain management center that serves various individuals and families throughout Wyandotte County, Kan. The center was founded in 1999 as result of a partnership between the Providence Medical Center and Kansas Specialty Physicians. It offers specialization in ophthalmology, orthopedics, gynecology, and general and plastic surgery. The Heart of America Surgery Center also offers treatment services for diseases related to ear, nose and throat (ENT). The center is licensed by the State of Kansas, certified by Medicare and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
