Steve's Service Center

Took my car to them when the engine light came on. Sat there all morning,then was told he couldn't check it because my car was too old. I told them year,make, and model when I made the appt! Not long after,I started to have problems with it running hot and the radiator would be empty. Was told I needed a radiator. When I told him it WAS a new one he checked again...made a mistake; nothing was wrong. Maybe it accidentally leaked out. Kept happening and now I have head gasket issues. Charged me 100.00 to pour a temporary fix in. About a month ago, had car towed to Steve's for starter Changed battery cables instead.Now,after multiple service calls tows and missed work, I finally got the starter I asked for. Checked price at Auto Zone REALLY padded that bill!
My son went for an oil change. Got an inspection instead Imagine his shock to find he'd passed with bald tires and other issues. He told me then I should find a new mechanic. I may be a slow learner, but eventually I do get it.

We took our car to Steves to fix a broken motor mount. The work was performed and we left, but the engine vibrations started happening again a few days later. So we took it back, and they looked at it, and one of the mechanics said that the mount had slipped and needed to be replaced. He said to bring the car back when they werent so busy and they would fix it. So we did, but when we brought it back, the owner told us he didnt know what was wrong with it and that we should "Take it somewhere else" . I have never heard a garage say take your car somewhere else. So, it seems to me that despite the glowing reviews of this place (and we had the car here a few times before with no problems) that Steve does not stand behind his work. The car was brought in to diagnose the problem, it was diagnosed, but not fixed, and then the owner tells us to take it somewhere else. Well, we will, from now on. We will never go back.

My mom and dad being taken there cars to them befor it became Steve service center now I take my car there and he does wonderful work on both of my cars and he is reasonable reliable and very honest wit u I recommend anybody to go there he is a very gd worker

Steve has been servicing my car since 2011 and he is the first place I go when I need service. I got brakes done at Sears for hundreds of dollars and then when the others went I Steve did the other set for less than a hundred. His waiting area is always full of down to earth people who know he does good work at reasonable prices.

I brought ny 1999 Nissan truck to Steve for an alternator problem he said it was fixed next morning it would not start took it back and he had it 4 days and said it was fixed again the next day it broke down on the road I called Steve and he said it must be an electrical problem take it somewhere else. I had it towed to the Nissan dealership and they said the alternator was bad. I called Steve and he told me to bring the alternator back and they would take it back to the parts house. Do not got to Steves I am out $265 and splus a tow and Steve just blew me off
