I have always received wonderful service at Pet Vet. I have an elderly dog who can no longer walk and Pet Vet has always taken wonderful care of her. I frequently use the boarding service, and my dog is always welcomed with a big smile. Pet Vet also offers a service at their boarding facility where they will send you an email and a photo of your pet, so you can check in on how things are going, while you are out of town. The staff is caring and friendly. Pet Vet also quickly fills the prescriptions my dog needs.

this is the worst vet i ever brought my dog to. my dog is experiencing minor diarrhea and i was trying to get ID cane food to feed him but unfortunately the waiting time to get all prescription is to call 3 hrs ahead. when i called it's 2 hrs 15 minutes to closing time and the receptionist was rude and saying that she will try to put it in but not guaranty that i will get it today before close. i said oh my god it's just a cane food straight from the shelf and please show some mercy and compassion toward my poor sick dog (i was bagging crying) i ask to speak to my regular doctor that all my dog is seeing for the pass 8 years and she said all doctor are busy and she hand up and i try to call back no one pick up . i think they see the caller id . i mean this place is only good if you go for vaccine and microchip and i can tell you the price is not cheep if you consider to bring your pet just to do vaccine . you can bring them to the pet store because sometime they have offer onsite vet.

I took my dog here during a blizzard. I got hung up by an accident and called to see if it was okay that I was 5 minutes late. They put me on hold for a while, but then told me I could come in. I got there 3 minutes late and I was treated very rudely by the staff who acted put out by me.

My dog had a possible urinary infection and they took him away to get urine from him. A short time later the vet came in with the dog and told me he wouldn't urinate for them. I asked her if it was okay if I took him out and tried. She told me "we know what we're doing... if we can't catch urine from your dog than you probably can't either."

She said there was nothing she could do for me... charged me a full office call and sent me on my way. I walked outside with my dog and he peed on one of their bushes. I never went back. Terrible experience.

This place WAS great! They've treated my pets and I wonderfully since 98. I have a sick animal and cannot get in to the vet for a simple antibiotic until 7 days from today? Not only did you loose my respect Pet Vet, but you lost my business. My dog is feeling awful and "sorry the emergency vet number is..." (which they charge an arm and a leg for 150 to see the dog any anything additional after that...) won't work. THANKS!

I have always had the best experience at Pet Vet, Dr. Scott is my girl! I origionally started going there because my old vet sent me there for and ultra sound on my dog Truman who was very sick but they (the old vet) could not figure out why. Long story short, when I saw Dr. Scott the first thing she said was would you let me run one more blood test, of course I said and with in minutes we knew what was wrong with him. Truman had been sick for three weeks by this time and if the other vet had ran this blood test it would have been caught in time for him to recover. Dr. Scott is an amazing Vet! I trust her! She explanes this in laymen term and takes the time needed, when needed... Thank you Dr. Scott ( MYGirl...)

12 years of A++ Serivce!

I have taken our dogs to this Vet for close to 12 years now without a complaint. They are compassionate, professional and would never put anyone or any animal in harms way concerning diseases/germs as described in the other review. Over the years I have never had either of our dogs come in contact or get a disease/germ passed to them while under their care. They helped save both our dogs that we adopted with Heartworm. Our animals love to go here, they are comfortable and have no issues when they need to stay, now when an animal feels that calm with the people and building then they are obviously doing something right. THEY HAVE WON AWARDS FOR BEST CARE AND FACILITY TOO! Wouldn't trust my babies to anyone else!

Great Vet

How ironic I'm the second to post after the person below me. I actually took my dog to Pet Vet because we suspected he had parvo. I'm guessing this person may not know too much about parvo. If you took your dog to Pet Vet and then s/he was diagnosed with parvo a week later, it's likely that s/he got parvo at their clinic. But the virus takes 7-10 days to show symptoms and test positive. Also, at least through Pet Vet, the parvo vaccine is a 2 or 3 shot series and there are pre-series shots. You sure your dog was 100% protected. Anyway, back to my review. My dog didn't have parvo in the end but they still made me wash myself with bleach and walk in a solution of bleach to kill any potential virus. I also saw them put up a sign on the door that said "Parvo room, no dogs" or something like that, even after they cleaned it. All the employees there were very friendly and knowledgeable and the doctors and assistants kept me informed and calm throughout my visit. I will never go to another vet!

bad

This place may look nice and clean, But I will not take another one of my pets there. If you want your healthy dog to die take it here. My dog was healthy all shots and everything and then I take it there and gets parvo. Just sickens me that a clinic cannot clean the place up with bleach to kill diseases.
