Finish Line Oil & Lube Service

To reply to what the previous post in 2008 stated, they are very efficient and go above and beyond. They've had a change in management since the incident stated above and I recommend them to everyone; they're who I go to every time I get my oil changed

We have taken all of our vehicles to this location. Initially we began having troubles with our truck. The oil started leaking in our driveway once my husband brought it home. We called the place instantly and they were actually very nice about it and replaced the filter. They indicated that they were supplied with faulty filters. We did not write them off just yet. My husband took the truck there again. This time he was in a job within central TX. The truck stopped working and he had to take it into a local shop where he was working. Apparently the steering fluid had been leaking from N. TX to central. I spoke to the guys in the shop and they said they do check on the steering fluid. My only guess is that they did not close it up tight. Without knowing of this issue until later on. Finally, the scariest incident is when my mother in law and myself went to get an oil change from there. We were on our way to Walmart directly after getting the oil change and completely unaware that our van had been leaking oil the whole way as well. As we were merging onto the highway, we heard a loud pop and the van was smoking!! Someone on the highway was nice enough to call 911 and reported what happened to the cops and fire department. Unfortunately, the report indicated that our van was literally on fire with sparks flying at the rear of the vehicle. The fire and police department responded very quickly and were kind enough to stay and make sure we were ok. The guys from the shop came to make sure that things were ok...obviously our car was on fire and almost blew us up.. The guy wanted us to drive the van back to the shop...reassuring that it was now ok to drive. ::blah:: Anyways they did fix it...again they indicated it as a "bad filter." We are just over the shop. I might be a bit dramatic in saying that with us almost dieing...it confirmed that we longer wanted to take our business there.
