Tonia's Hair Salon

For a perm...absolutely do not get it done here. Perm lasted less than 3 weeks, less than 2 in some areas. Profesional stylists should be able to discern color treated hair from natural hair but Tonia Wilson, the owner, told the stylist to use a color treated perm on my hair even though I do not color my hair. Went back for a "trim"- I left with 2 inches lopped off and layered-to try to get the "weight off" which I found strange since I have made it very clear that I am letting my hair grow out. Told to come back in 2 weeks to redo perm. Spoke with the owner, Tonia Wilson, she advised I call the stylist (who works for her not rents a booth). I wanted a refund for the perm amount as it is now too short for another perm unless I want to look like a poodle. My hair now looks like it has a 3 month perm in it, it's 2 inches shorter than it was 3 weeks ago and it is layered. What was supposed to make my life easier has cost me money wasted and time every day trying to style it while I wait for it to grow back out.



If you patronize this salon, be prepared to have your hair done while employee's families are there, kids running around, talking to your stylist, and your stylist texting,, taking personal calls, being distracted by a thousand other things while styling your hair.
