Overall
The first time that we ever us...

The first time that we ever used this company was shortly after we moved into our new house. One of the things that was "fixed" by the previous owners was that the cross duct had fallen, and they repaired it by using duct tape and zip ties. When we called them to have a repairman come out we told them that we had a small crawl space under the house and that the duct was laying on the ground. They sent a very large man out who couldn't fit under our house, but instead of just saying that he couldn't fir under the house, he said that he didn't have any plastic in his truck and didn't have any coveralls so he couldn't get under there. They finally sent someone smaller out the next day.
The next time was because the wiring for the AC was completely toast. They fixed the wiring. Next time, same issue. Then this Christmas they heat went out. Since we were actually paying from our own pocket this time (Old Republic Home Warranty was pointless) they said that we needed a whole new unit! My mom was here and she told him that he just needed to fix the wiring (again). It turns out, that the unit hadn't been serviced or cleaned since before we bought it. The water condensation was dripping down into the electrical components of the unit and shorting out the system.
In April we had the machine serviced and completely cleaned. The month after that the electric company sent someone out to check out meter because we had used TWICE the amount electricity that we had ever used in the 3 years we had lived here. Then, the AC wouldn't come on a month later. I called them to come look at it. Then it needed ANOTHER part. I told the guy that we could write them a post dated check for it. He called the owner, the owner said that we could write the post dated check, and they would hold it until the date, which was about 5 days away.
Three days later, they put the check thru, not once, but twice! There goes $60 in bank fees.. which cause all kinds of crazy stuff to happen with out account. Someone else calls my husband (The wife I'm assuming) and she was VERY rude to my husband, told him that I never asked to write a post dated check, that I lied to him about the whole situation.
That last situation just left a terrible taste in my mouth, and we will not be using Manley again. (Yes, I do know that it's my fault for writing the check, but the OWNER approved the post dated check, and I took his word for it.)
I can say that the techs, for the most part, are very friendly and do know their jobs. But when it comes to actually being helpful.. that's a no. They could have told us the FIRST time that they were here that the machine needed servicing and cleaning instead of waiting THREE YEARS to tell us.

It is true that we are one of the only Heating company's that will take a post dated check. WE understand that times are hard and a dollar does not go as far as it used too. Sometimes a homeowner will call and ask us to hold a check after it has been deposited. I am truly sorry, we can not do anything about this. Our bank will only allow us to run a check one time. And it does cost us if it does not clear. We also recommend that homeowners should do preventive maintains on there system annually to ensure proper operation, and help prevent failures. Our highly skilled and safety conscious technicians work hard to make everyone happy in timely and affordable price. Just give us a call if you need anything further. My experience with this company Manley Heating and cooling was good. They fix my A.C. back in the middle of June 2015. That when the highest of the high summer heat to break any records of the heat index. They came out and found that the problem was with my fan and motor. It was back up in running in no time for my family. Definitely will be added to my contact for routine maintenance each year of the seasons.

Had a problem over a July weekend with an a/c unit over in Emerald Ilsle. The service person Nick was super nice, helpful and fixed my problem! They responded and came on Monday. And no extra charge other than my service charge pursuant to American Home Shield. Will use them again.

I would recommend these guys. I called around and they were not the cheapest, The reason I didn’t go with the cheapest was because I figured they would tell me I needed to replace the whole unit. They got the job done and I would use them again. The guy they sent to the house was nice too, not rude or anything. The only thing I didn’t like was after I scheduled them to come out here I had tried calling back a few times to make sure they would take my card for the payment and nobody was answering the phone.

Overall

Very unprofessional. Completed work without my consent, charged me for it, and then threatened to undo their work. Tried having a civil conversation about the situation but things were taken way too personally.

I am so amazed by how fast and...

I am so amazed by how fast and reliable this company is! It was really hot and my a/c unit stopped working. I called and spoke to a really nice employee who set my appointment time around my schedule with no hassles. They were professional and courteous, just what I needed to help me with my issues. They even allowed me to make payments on the work that was completed- which was perfect for me! I recommend them to all of my neighbors!

They gave me a small time frame that they would be out and they came in that time frame. Quickly fixed the AC unit. The technician was friendly and professional.

Saved our Lives!!!

Professional & FRIENDLY! We just moved to the area, military life of course. We were desperate to have our AC repaired. After calling other AC places in town and being treated rudely, we contacted Mr. Manley who not only made us feel justified in calling him, but assured us he would have a tech to our new house within the hour. The tech arrived in a timely manner & explained in detail what the problem was. Our AC was fixed and has been great ever since! THANK YOU MR. MANLEY for making another military move a little easier for us and our children!!!
