A 1 Marine Sanitation

This sanitation company needs to "clean up" its "ATTITUDE" & "brush up" on some much needed "People/customer skills". They're not only rude on the phone but they seem to even forget (often) to pick up the trash. The bill is the only dependable, consistent & customer friendly thing about them.
My sympathies for anyone else that has had the same experience w/them.

For the last 10 years I have had little trouble with this company. But for the last 6 months or so it's been a living hell. They are tearing up our road so bad. We are not getting any aid in keeping our road in good condition to begin with since it's a private gravel road. The road is 1/2 mile long and they constantly drive along the very edge of the road and have turned it into deep muddy ruts. Now the driver keeps making a "K" turn just before our house tearing the road up each time. I have to give them a 1 star rating because I can't give them NO stars. I've tried calling them several times and all I get is the (BIG RUN AROUND).
These men are not accountable for what they tear up. But we are. We the people who live on this road (20+) houses here. They have no respect for anyone, Not even their own bosses show any respect. Me for one, I'm looking for another trash company that will do the job right.

God forbid you can't fit all your trash (a week's work ) into the trashcan and have to put one beside it on the ground.... Good luck trying to get them to take it.. so you pile it on the top of the trashcan as much as you can so the lid will still shut..

This is my experience.. didn't take out the trash from the trashcan in the house until 1230 am after the trash came so I went out and thought I was putting it in an empty can, the trash guys only took the bag on the top! Are you kidding me?!?! How hard is it to roll the trash can on the lift thing and push a button to dump it?

Rude service over the phone. Just came back to the area and already have to call them because they never picked our trash up. When we called the company today at 2:30 pm the female employee on the phone was very rude. I would recommend you choose another company over this one.

Pay our bill on time always. For the last 4 weeks our trash was not taken. On week three I called and spoke with management. Their response was they would send I truck to pick up the missed house. They didn't end up coming so I called again, management promised they would be out. they finally show the next day and took a few bags and left. I called a fourth time and they said the truck was full and they would return. It is now two days past and still no sign of service. I would strongly recommend taking your business to a company who will take your business serious.

I have been with them for 25 years and have no complaints at all ,in fact they are pretty tolerant of mishaps in recycle vs trash.

Nothing but good things to say about thus company. Great service, above and beyond what they have to do.Thank you guys. Great service for the small amount they charge every month

I paid my bill and the following month received another bill saying I never paid last month. I try to call and correct this and I get a busy signal. Never had a problem with them picking up my trash or not but am getting more and more frustrated with them

This company should be shut down. The guys picking up the trash and recycling are lazy . It is so apparent that they harbor the" let's just do it so we can leave " attitude. If I could be refunded for every time my trash and recycling has not been picked up, I'd be bill free for six months. Lousy service!

A-1 Marine Sanitation is a disgrace to my neighborhood. Their workers are rude and make it quite clear they do not have any concern for the service they provide. They do not return the bins to their spots after emptying - they literally kick them to the curb and they land on their sides every time (sometimes in the ditch). I would prefer that representatives of this business never enter my neighborhood at all - they reflect poorly on our community and are not trusted. I encourage my neighbors to switch to the other sanitation company in the area, which serves my house and has always been respectable. The other company has better customer service upon contacting them by phone as well.

When they do take my trash its great, but they don't always take it. Today was the last straw, they took some of my trash out of the can and dumped it beside the trash can and left the rest. I had to pick it up myself and put everything back. And now I am going to have to wait until next week to see if they will take it because they aren't answering their phone. Horrible service.

the trash bill gets paid everymonth on time and I still can't seem to get them to empty my trash can...when it does get emptied it only gets half emptied...when I call in they are RUDE and VERY IGNORANT!!! I don't pay half the bill half the time so I really DON'T WANT HALF THE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had this company for quite sometime (years) but for some reason everytime they decide not to pick up my trash their rude employee that cant seem to do anything but be rude over the phone answers and refuses to help with anything her reply is always call back at 330 and the manager will be in(,what kind of customer service is that ?),not only is my payment taken out of my account monthly on time i get treated like crap .I wouldnt recommend this company to the devil and at 330 i will be cancelling my trash with them ,if it wasnt for the incompetent employee they have employed i would of already cancelled.

Office workers are VERY rude and trash never got picked, even after several calls.
