X-rays

Teeth Cleaning
Comprehensive dental exams and cleanings are recommended once every six months for all patients. These visits help identify any tooth decay or early signs of gum disease or oral cancer through diagnostic x-rays and physical examination. Early detection of these conditions can help ensure effective treatment and prevent permanent damage.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride Treatments: Fluoride is a natural substance that helps strengthen teeth and prevent decay in patients of all ages. Fluoride treatments are administered at your dentist’s office using either acidulated phosphate fluoride (APF) or neutral sodium fluoride. It is applied to the teeth in gel, foam or varnish form either in a tray or painted directly on the teeth. For most patients, the fluoride is left on for four minutes.
Dental Sealants
Sealants: Good oral hygiene – brushing and flossing daily – and a healthy diet are the best way to prevent plaque build-up in the mouth. But even the most thorough brushing does not always reach the deepest indentations in the back teeth (molars). Dental sealants fill in these depressions, preventing bacterial formation that causes tooth decay and other damage. In a procedure that takes only a few minutes per tooth, the dentist cleans the tooth, applies an acid solution to roughen the surface, and bonds a plastic sealant to the tooth.

Fillings
Resin Composite
These new substances have a white color and can be made from several different substances, including composite resin, glass ionomer cement (GIC), and porcelain ceramics. These materials are very resilient and long lasting in addition to their visual advantages, but can become discolored over time. Just like metal fillings, these can be set and cured within one visit to the dentist, although they may take a little bit longer.
Veneers
Placing veneers requires two appointments. During the first, impressions are made of the teeth so that a set of veneers can be created specifically for your individual smile. At the second appointment, your natural teeth are buffed to prepare for the veneers, which are placed on the teeth with an etching solution and special light.
Crowns
Three types of dentures: full (complete), fixed and removable partial dentures. The former is only required in persons who have lost all or most of the teeth on either of the two arches of the mouth (maxillary - top and mandibular - bottom). Most patients missing only a few teeth opt for fixed partial dentures, also known as "crown and bridge". These must be precisely installed, especially when in between healthy teeth. Removable partial dentures are different from fixed partial dentures in that they are normally only used by people who cannot have fixed dentures or have lost too many teeth for fixed dentures, but too few for full dentures.
Bridges
Bridges are natural-looking tooth replacements which help maintain facial structure, reduce stress on the jaw and fill in the gaps caused by missing teeth. Fixed bridges are cemented to the existing teeth and do not come out. Removable bridges can be taken out and cleaned at home.
Dental Bonding
Bonding is a special filling that can restore, reshape and rejuvenate the teeth, improving both the function and the appearance of your smile. By applying a thin layer of tooth-colored plastic to the front of the tooth and sculpting it like clay, your dentist may use bonding to correct chipped or cracked teeth, broken or misshapen teeth, stained teeth or spaces between the teeth.

Root Canal Treatment
Root canal is a surgical procedure used to both diagnose and treat conditions within the dental pulp, the soft core of the tooth. The dental pulp contains nerves, blood vessels and tissue and stretches from the crown of the tooth to the root of the jaw bone. Cracked or infected teeth can cause severe damage to the dental pulp and may cause it to die. A root canal removes the damaged pulp and helps save decayed or infected teeth.

Dentures
Dentures are prosthetic devices designed to help patients without teeth chew food and improve speaking habits. Additionally, dentures improve the patient's facial aesthetics and self-esteem. The absence of teeth can lead to a sunken, collapsed appearance to the mouth-area; by restoring the physical presence of teeth, this malformation is corrected and the patient may be seen more "normal" according to human standards.
Overdentures
Implant-supported overdentures are highly effective, with a success rate of more than 95% over 10 years. Not only are they very comfortable, they also help preserve the jaw bone—and best of all, you don't have to worry about eating chewy, sticky or tough foods anymore.

Bone Grafting
If you do not have the bone necessary for dental implants, your dentist may recommend bone grafting—removing bone from elsewhere in the mouth or from the hip, or using artificial bone, and placing it in the jaw until it grows into the natural bone—as a first step in the dental implant process.
