        The idea of Community Bank of Florida originated one afternoon in February 1972. Our founders wanted to form a bank “owned and operated by the people of the community" in order to meet the needs of the community. Although our roots were planted in South Florida, our branches have grown to Monroe and Polk County, where we still believe in the same principles. Banking is about finding solutions to needs, whether it is for retail or business customers, or the communities we serve.
