Holzer Medical Center

I have lived in Jackson County nearly all of my life and I have had multiple bad experiences with Holzer Medical Center Jackson. The staff of this institution have been consistently unprofessional and ineffective in doing there jobs. Holzer Medical Center Jackson has misdiagnosed my condition on more than one occassion and demonstrated a lack of medical care during visits that I have had as well as my families trips to the hospital. For example, I had internal bleeding on one instance that was not discovered during my time under HMCJ's care. It was not discovered until I was transferred to Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis that I had an internal injury and needed blood transfusions. It is important for me to say that I do not have an issue with all Holzer institutions just the Jackson hospital in particular. I have been to a couple of Holzer clinics that have been above satisfactory in medical and personal treatment of their patients, however this is not the same for HMCJ. If you or a loved one have a medical emergency, I beg you not to take them to the Holzer Jackson Hospital for their doctors and nurses are not only incompetent but rude as well. If you have a medical emergency it is dangerous to go to this hospital.
