Dr. Anthony Smallwood, DDS

Dr. Smallwood is awesome! My family has always hated going to the dentist, but now it's actually an event we look forward to. My kids are 4, 7, and 9, and I no longer have to drag them in or bribe them with toys to get them to go to the dentist. Their prices are extremely reasonable (especially compared to other local dentists), and they seem to be able to fit us in quickly if we have any problems. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would!



PS - I also had some billing issues, but it was explained to me well. Instead of having to pay for everything in full (like most other offices) and get the insurance company to reimburse me, this office actually estimates the insurance for me, and i am responsible only for the difference. If my insurance company, however, pays a little less/more than what has been estimated, I may be responsible for the difference. It was frustrating, but understandable. (I actually got a little refund last time! :). Anyway, this has so far been the best dentist's office that I have ever been to.

Dr. Smallwood is a very compassionate, kind, and caring individual. The other dentists in the office and the entire staff were very friendly. My insurance was billed and payment made accordingly with no problems.

Yes this dentist does have the most beautiful office I've seen. It's what's underneath that I was sadly disappointed in. I constantly and continually had to get billing mistakes corrected. I am retired and have 2 different insurances. Sometimes they wouldn't file the secondary insurance and I have to get it corrected. This was done solely because of lack paying attention to detail and not doing their jobs. Of course the error always was costly to me and not them. I can tell you that the reception and billing staff's nice first appearance can quickly turn to a smut arrogance. The bottom line is the dentist wouldn't even call me back and your just a dollar to them and have no value as their patient. As in life, first impressions can be deceiving...it's all about the money, you're just part of the assembly line.

Beautiful dentist office to start out with. Nurses are so nice, dentists are so nice and careful. I took my 3 small daughters there and it was a great experience. Reminds me of my dentist growing up so I especially like it there. The children's rooms are each decorated adorable with hand painted decorations. Up-to-date equipment. and just a pleasant atmosphere.
