        honest service - repaired right

        I had a performance problem. I thought my Ford was due for a tuneup and asked for one when I walked in -I had gone to the AutoOne store in Wayne first. The man at the counter at Mel's asked if the tuneup was maintainence or because of a problem. When I explained my car was sluggish they recommended that they address that problem first. It turned out that my fuel filter was almost totally clogged. They replaced the fuel filter for a total of $43- parts and labor. Now the car runs great. A guy named Frank at the first place wanted to do a major: tuneup -plugs, wires, and filters -air - cabin - and fuel for a total of about $300. I'm glad I decided to get a second price.
