General Info
We are committed to providing the highest quality of dental care to the children of Indiana. As pediatric dental specialists, our primary mission is to make dental visits easy and enjoyable for children while helping them maintain optimum oral health. We want your children to have a lifetime of healthy smiles! Disease prevention and education is our central focus. Prevention is the key to a healthy mouth for a lifetime. We want you to love your smile! Each patient and parent is to be treated with the utmost respect, care concern and love while providing the highest quality of care. We want your voice to always be heard. Our aim is to create an open atmosphere of trust and respect between our staff and clientele. We welcome any questions or concerns about your child's care.
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued. We also offer Saturday cleaning and exam appointments!
As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “ dental health care ” vs. “ disease care ”. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your child's teeth and gums and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, fluoride, oral hygiene and diet education are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your child's smile, we’re also concerned about their health. A review of medical history can help us stay informed of your child's overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact their dental health.
As pediatric dental specialists, we have an additional 2 years of pediatric dental training. We are specifically trained on behavior management techniques, pediatric dental treatments, general anesthesia and special needs and medically compromised pediatric dentistry beyond the scope of general dentistry.
