Would never again go here. The doctor was rude, stating that I would not get a refund if I decided not to come back for a pair of glasses after the visit. Mind you I waited almost and hour to be seen for my SCHEDULED appointment. What ever he put in my eyes burned and continued burning for a week. My eyes were blood shot and I could not open them. I ended up having to make a trip to the emergency room. Not only did the doctor dilate my eyes but he dilated them and sent me out the door. So I had to drive home seeing I tunnel vision, forget me trying to adjust my vision to get home. I missed a week of work and when I called in to complain, the receptionist didn't offer any help. She just told me okay and hung up. I was never given a complaint number or reached out too. This company is not worth it. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They took my money and sent me out half blind. Even crying didn't bring relief to my burning eyes. DO NOT waste your time!!

The newly renovated office looks nice. Other than that nothing positive to say. They are supposed to run eligibility for my son's insurance before they even have you come in and they failed to do so, resulting in me wasting my entire morning for nothing. They should have let me know ahead of time that something was wrong with his coverage so I wouldn't have even wasted my time coming to the appointment. So now my kid still has no glasses and I lost out on time at work.

.I have been to this location on several different occasions trying to get contact lenses.First appointment the wrong contacts were ordered for me with the stigmatism that I have.After returning for a second appointment I had to call my secondary eye care provider and ask him for the prescription for my glasses to give to the doctor at the Dr.Tavel office.Afer the appointment the doctor said that he would order two sets of trial contacts for me to try and see which pair worked out better.I got a call to pick up my trial cantacts and only one pair was order and I had to return once again.I made another appoint to get my prescription released but they had to order my second trial pair for me to try.The morning of my appointment I talked to the receptionist to confirm my time and when I got there she told me she wasn't sure if she order the trial pair which she didn't and told me she had to order them and reschedule my appointment.This is something they should confirm the day of the appoint ment prior to someone arriving.I called the corporate office and the receptionist was more apologetic then the district manager.The receptionist Stephanie from the actual store called me after I spoke with the corp.office and got rude and told me my insurance was maxed out which it wasn't because I called my eye care provider and said my lenses were on backori after she told me she had to order them because she forgot.the staff at this location is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend it onyone until they retrain their staff to do their job properly.

Had an issue with lenses I purchased from another optometry shop. The optometrist at Dr. Tavel checked the lenses, compared them against my old prescription, and made a recommendation about how to address the problem. She was very insightful and went out of her way to help me although I am not a customer of Dr. Tavel. I truly appreciate her help!

I found this Dr. Tavel location through my insurance company's website and had never heard anything about them before. I was pleasantly surprised to speak to a friendly receptionist when I made my initial appointment & also when I called to reschedule for an earlier time. They changed the time without any hassles at all! I loved the confirmation call I recieved in the morning of my appointment and the great, friendly, inviting care I recieved while there. The location is easy to find and very clean. Thank you for such an amazing experience! You made finding my glasses fun and easy.
