Anytime Fitness

--Just wanted everyone to know that the owner of the Anytime Fitness in Idaho Falls, is rude, demeaning, and completely condescending to military families. He also owns the one in Ammon and Rexburg. My husband is away for active duty service for seven months and I was told I was a liar because we were under the impression his gym membership would be put on hold for his duration of service. My husband WATCHED him enter it into the computer that he would be gone for that period. AND, it's his duty that takes him away NOT a lack of commitment to a gym.
I was calm and kind about trying to take care of the matter and he flew off the handle. (with his son there too = quite classy) When I asked him to not speak to me that way, he was even more rude. Other businesses understand that soldiers can't drop everything to make calls to businesses, why can't this guy? He called ME a liar when HE was the one that screwed up.
If you have support for the military, I strongly urge you to boycott Anytime Fitness. Also, if you think customer service should be kind (especially when THE CUSTOMER is nice), it might be wise to take your business elsewhere. Good Luck!
