Kentucky River Community Care is a private, nonprofit community mental health care center that has been in business since 1969. The organization specializes in substance abuse and trauma-related services. It has a staff of more than 450 employees. Kentucky River Community Care has over 40 operating units. The organization offers a variety of assessment, referral, individual and group therapies. It provides an early intervention program for children under the age of 21 years. Kentucky River Community Care s recovery center offers residential treatment for adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17. It provides counseling, alcohol and drug education, relapse prevention, recreation and case management services. The organization provides a range of programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. In addition, Kentucky River Community Care offers 24-hour supervision and training solutions.
