My 17 month old daughter broke her arm above the elbow falling off the couch after climbing to reach an item on the counter. We took her to the ER where a temporary splint was placed on her. The ER doctor referred us to Dr. Quatro since our daughter was so young. My wife called that Monday morning after the weekend when my daughter fell, and made an appointment to get in. She was seen on Tuesday morning, the wait was right on time, Dr. Quatro was very attentive to all of my daughter's needs as well as properly re-wrapping the splint for us. More x-rays were taken, and come to find out, the ER didn't catch that a piece of the bone had come off, Dr. Quatro immediately scheduled an emergency surgery for the next morning, where she was able to get in and repin the piece of bone back in place. Everything has been healing perfectly.

Our experience has been easy with all the stress of a toddler with a broken arm. I am definitely glad we were referred to her, and she put us at ease during surgery as well.

They put a JOKE of a cast on my daughter's arm, and then charged me to re-cast it. Billing told me they would take care of it, and six months later I get a bill for the work. And guess what, the entire staff has changed and no one remembers our agreement. TERRIBLE. OVERPRICED. BAD WORK.

I don't recommend this office based on any aspect. I didn't like the nurse or assistants attitude & the condescending way she asked the questions. Our appointment was at 1 & after the assistant left the room, an hour went by with no one to check up on us, give us a status update or anything. We had to poke our heads out & ask how much longer to be told,"I don't know & per HIPPA regulations you need to go back into the room"...Really?Doctor finally comes 70 min later & she speaks to us like 3min & that was it.She did apologize at that point & explained the delay, but after the fact doesn't really help much.Paying the copay afterwards wasn't very easy after the poor service we received. Now I'm sitting in the office again waiting on a disc of my daughter's xray scans. We're taking our business elsewhere.& of course I called before about if I needed to order the disk in head of time, "oh, no it doesn't take long at all". But I guess the only person who is trained to do this is out on lunch.

This Dr. office is very unprofessional and treated patient very poorly and disrespected. She very unprofessional about her services. One time we couldn't be able to afford to buy the boot the she had offer. Then I got the same boot at some other places its was less expensive then from her office. She got upset and asking me, "WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR BOOT IN GROCERY STORE??" That is an insult, rudeness, and very unprofessinal. This office is also unorganized from Doctor to co-worker.

We will never recommend or return. We were referred to this Dr becasue after going to urgen care, my son needed to see a pediatric orthopedic Dr. Worst experience ever with a Dr's office, very unprofessional, extremely long wait without being advised as to what was going on. And very conflicting information with regard to my son's treatment. Needless to say I did not follow up with them, and opted to take my son to our own personal physician for cast removal and follow up treatment. He is now doing fine and continuing his treatment and care with our on Dr.

This office needs help

First of all we love Dr. Quatro. My son is a bull rider and we see an orthopedic a lot. However, we are going to be looking for a new doctor. Although we feel like he has gotten very competent care, the wait time in this office is unacceptable. We have been here several times in the last few months and every visit is a 3 hour visit, no matter what they are doing to him. I have no idea what is going on here but for the wait to be this bad everytime we go is just unacceptable.

Why bother showing up on time?

First off, to the people talking about the Dr. directly, she is very sweet and very competent. Now on to reality. If your PCP recommends this place, tell them to change it. Go ahead and make your 8am appointment and then feel free to show up some time just before 10. We have had to come here for months, every single time it has been 1 to 1 1/2 hours past the appointment time before sitting us in the patience room for another 20 to 30 minutes. The office staff turns over regularly, and for good reason. I am not certain where they hire these people, but rude is an understatement. We had discussed with the Dr. that our child was going out of town the following week and needed to make an appointment for when we got back. She understood. When we did make the appointment, the lady handling setting it up was snippy and rude. "You child should have been here a week ago". The last visit there were a total of 3 parties waiting to be seen, and we sat in the waiting room watching 10 year old movies for over an hour. Tell your PCP to no longer refer people here if they have jobs, children, or the tendency from getting bedsores from sitting too long. Again, do not show up any time before an hour AFTER your appointment. Just call me and tell them to sign you in, because it isn't going to matter anyway. Too bad there are not options for NEGATIVE stars!!!!

Worst. Place. Ever.

I've been here twice because of cast issues. Well, the first time I had to get a cast and they used the metal foot holder thing to do that. Somehow I got water in my cast during the first week. I put three trash bags on it with multiple rubber bands and it still got wet. But that's my fault, not theirs. I've had 3 casts before though and none of them have ever gotten wet. I came back the following Monday and I got my cast removed. They were out of pink so I chose purple. They put the cast on wrong. The doctor did not use the metal foot holder like she did last time. She just had me hold my foot up at the right angle. My ankle's locked in place pretty good so I couldn't hold it up that high. It was slanted down more than up. I couldn't walk on my foot at all. I had to walk on the side of my foot and it stuck out to the side. I tried to hold it straight but it hurt my knee to do so and it made me feel like I was going to fall over. I told the nurse and the doctor about it but they both said it was normal. The doctor told me that she would not let me leave the office if it was messed up. It was messed up and she did let me leave. I'm a competitive swimmer on the LAC and I already have hip issues from another injury in the past. I don't need any more issues. Right now I'm actually sitting in the waiting room of this place because they messed up on my cast and told me to come back tomorrow if it was messed up. I can't wait till tomorrow. I'll blow out a knee if I do. It takes hours in here. It took about three hours the first visit today. And now another three hours. I was referred here by an urgent care place. All my injury is a broken toe. A spiral fracture on my second toe next to the big toe.

WORST doctor's office EVER!!

The first visit was a 3 hour visit, and only saw dr for maybe 5 minutes. The office staff was flustered and frustrated about a new computer program they hadn't been trained well on. The second visit, they wanted to schedule an MRI, but the MA didn't know how to schedule it. It took a week to get it scheduled, after I had to call 3 times to remind. They ordered PT with their PT location. We got one PT visit before all physical therapists quit. So, I found my own PT location, called to ask Dr Quatro's staff to send the prescription to the new PT office. It took a week and a half to make it happen, after multiple phone calls. Each time I called, they acted like it was the first time they had heard of it. We will NEVER go back!!

Doctor extremely rude!!! I took my son on 01.21.13 to see Dr. Quatro for some chest x-rays/scans. Our appointment was for 8:30am; she did not see him until 11am and when she did finally come to the room she was very rude. I literally witnessed this doctor being extremely rude to her staff then later being rude to my son. Her exact words to my son were " who told you to keep your clothes on, you stupid boy"...she called him stupid for having his underwear and undershirt on under his dressing gown. After I got upset with her, she apologized....but only after I got upset with her and told her that she was rude.

Unbelievable to me that my son was treated this way and that he followed the instructions from the staff; as they told my son that he could keep his underwear on and and his undershirt....Dr. Quatro behaved badly to her staff and treated my son with zero respect. We will not be going back and I DO NOT recommend anyone seeking a sport orthopedic doctor to go to Varsity Orthopedics!

This was by far the worst expe...

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor's office. We went here 3 times because my son broke his leg and needed a cast. We were referred here by our pediatrician as an only option because he is under 2. If I had known it was going to be this bad I would have desperately searched for another option. This office is an hour away from where we live. Our first appt. was at 2pm. We did not get called back until 3:30, and then finally left at 5pm. We were there for 3 hours, for about 5 minutes spent with the doctor. The second time we came to just get x-rays through the cast. Appt, was at 1:30pm. We waited for an hour this time, waited in the exam room for another hour. Xrays took 5 minutes and we saw the doctor for about 30 seconds. This time we left at about 4:00pm, so 2.5 hours for X-rays. Our last appt. to get his cast removed was by far the worst. Our appt. was at 3pm. Again, we waited 1.5 hrs in the waiting room, finally got called back and waited another 20 or so for the dr. to come in. She came in and roughly and quickly removed his cast. She was in the room maybe 3 minutes. She then said we'd be called out for xrays. We waited another 45 minutes when finally a nurse stuck her head in and asked what we were waiting for. I told her xrays. She acted surprised and the xray tech came in right away to get us. The xrays took 5 minutes, and then the doctor came in and said everything looked fine and we needed to follow up in 3 weeks. I was beyond frustrated at this point and my kids were tired, cranky and hungry. I checked out at 6pm. We were the last ones in the office and the receptionist told me "sorry about that, your chart got misplaced." So we waited for 45 minutes in the exam room because they forgot about us. Unacceptable. I have found another doctor to follow up on my son's leg for the next 18 months because there is absolutely no way I will step foot in that office again. They are unprofessional, uncaring and apparently don't think anyone's time matters. Each time I was here, someone in the waiting room complained angrily and several people would reschedule and leave after waiting over an hour. ***IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!!!!!***

By far one of the longest wait...

By far one of the longest waits I have ever had for a scheduled appointment. My son's appointment time was for 1pm, which we arrived to on time. We did not leave the office until 4pm. We were just rushed thru the visit once the doctor came in. Our original appointment was for a Mon. I was called on the Wednesday prior and told that the doctor had an emergency and needed to reschedule to the following Wednesday at 1pm. I asked if there were any other times available and was told no. After the visit the prescription that they were suppose to e-scribe was never completed. I tried calling 2 days later to get them to call it in, but only got the answering service. Just overall dissatisfied.

Wish I had read previous revie...

Wish I had read previous reviews before getting my son scheduled here. If Icould give a no star rating I would. Stay away, took two months for my son to get an appointment. Which meant two months more of pain killers. Two hours in office while only a two minute exam by doctor. Then was told to schedule with their therapy office in Southlake, an hour away, because they were so good just seeing them once a week would be better than any other three day a week therapy offered by another therapy office. Ha. Then it took four days to get a copy of my sons therapy orders faxed to the therapy office. They sent it only after the fourth day I called and said my husband would be by to pick up the copy since no one knew how to send a fax.

This was by far the worst expe...

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. My 9 year old son was referred here for followup care after he broke his arm. The clinic was freezing. It was very uncomfortable. We were not called back until an hour after our appointment time, and we did not see the doctor until an hour and a half after our appointment time. My son's cast was roughly removed from his arm by first the x-ray technician and then the doctor herself. They were unnecessarily rough with him, and his cries of pain and his questions were completely ignored. The doctor repeatedly rubbed the fracture area on my son's arm for no apparent reason, which was extremely painful. My husband had to step in and tell her to stop. When a new cast was put on his arm, the doctor set the cast by firmly pressing where the fracture was. She did this without any warning or explanation for my son. He cried out in pain, and all she said to him was "take a deep breath." My son asked her why she did that with no warning, and she ignored him. He then looked to my husband and me and asked us why she would do something like that without warning. She seemed extremely conceited. When my husband had to step in to stop her from being unnecessarily rough with my son she just said that she had 15 years of experience and knew what she was doing. When we were finally done she told us to find a new doctor and that the closest one other than her that accepts our insurance is 100 or so miles away. This is a lie, by the way. I was in total shock at how badly my son was treated here. It takes a whole lot to make my son cry, and he cried the entire drive back home, not because of the pain, but because his feelings were hurt. Even if our insurance did not cover any other providers in this area, I would gladly pay the necessary medical bills before ever going back to this clinic.
