Dr. Baughman has seen large, small, or even exotic animals, including rabbits, chickens, ducks, snacks, and birds. We see all large animals: horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs. We offer medical and surgical treatment. We have blood diagnostic and x-ray capabilities. We also have ultrasound, anesthesia, heart, blood pressure, respirators, and blood gas monitoring instrumentation and equipment. We offer preventative and wellness exams, routine vaccination and worming.

Infection Treatment

Anal Gland Infection Treatment
Joyce Baughman - Grooming Grooming is done by Joyce Baughman with 25 years experience. Grooming is done with “specific breed grooms” (purebreds) as well as general grooms (mixed breeds). Grooming days are Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. Most grooms are by appointment. However, walk-ins are sometimes available. Generally speakings, groomings include clipping, bathing, nailtrims, and anal gland expression. Medicated and flee/tick treatments are available on an as needed basis. We also groom cats. Animals should be dropped off by 9AM and are usually completed by mid-afternoon. We can make other arrangements if need be.

Veterinary Surgery
Dr. Baughman holds a masters in pathology, is a licensed veterinarian, a dispeller of myths of how an electric dog fence can harm pets, and has obtained speciality training in small animal orthopedic surgery.
