I went to Lee Thweatt with my personal injury case that had been turned down by some other lawyers. Unlike the others, he believed in me and accepted the case. I was not familiar with the legal system, so he explained everything to me very patiently and walked me through the whole process. Although I met both attorneys, I personally worked with Lee Thweatt. Lee kept me in the loop on what was going on with my case the entire time and his strategy did not change beginning to end. Terry & Thweatt is a God sent firm. I suffered severe burns to my stomach when I was eating at a fast food restaurant. I looked up injury attorneys located in the Texas City area and came across Terry & Thweatt, so I called them but was politely informed by Irene, one of the assistants, that their office is located in Houston. Irene continued to get information regarding my injuries and then transferred my call to one of the attorneys, Joseph Terry. I was able to get an appointment that same day. I used Joe Terry to represent me for a complex multi-vehicle collision, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. He breaks down the legal jargon and talks on your level, rather than speak in legalese. He comes prepared and at times recalled the case better than I did.
