Canyon Springs Health & Rehabilitation

A loved one of mine works there (for obvious reasons I will not state whom). This person has been continuously forced to work alone and ambulate residents before ever acquiring the CNA license needed to make this legal, even after making it clear to his supervisor that he was not comfortable stretching the law (to which his supervisor responded by blackmailing him that if he did not, he would be fired). Not long after he put in his two weeks because of this, he met yet another new, un-certified NA who had just been placed on his shift, when she came to him in tears. She, too, was being forced to work alone and do things that NAs are not lawfully supposed to do, against her better judgement.



There are many other things I could mention, about sanitary issues and safety hazards and such, but to me this is the worst. I hope that someday this place will be shut down for the good of both the residents and the staff.



I am just the messenger, as I do not work here myself. But I live with the person who told me this, and I feel that I have the right to stand up for what is right.
