Terrible!

I had the pleasure of spending my birthday in a pre-celebration dinner with family and friends Saturday – December 6th. However, what I didn’t share was the unfortunate experience I had with the limousine service (D&S Partners Limousine) that we know very well to be associated with our very own classmate Derrick Thompson Sr.

I have never posted a personal message on Facebook but strongly feel compelled to share this terrible experience as it defies every ounce of TRUST, FRIENDSHIP, INTEGRITY and FAITH that one has in a classmate, that I’ve known for years, and now realize that this experience resulted in Derrick painting himself as a LIAR and a MANIPULATOR in offering me a “Deal” .

Derrick’s “Deal” resulted in his manipulating an increase in his price the day before our service (here we go with the “okie doke!”) and an additional cost on the day of the service. Why did I pay him? Good Question! I assumed that I was speaking with an old classmate who had been brought up in an environment of honesty, respect and trust. Little did I know that I was going to be a pawn in the Best Game ever played! He claimed that he would stop by my house to give back the additional money I paid on the day of my service…..I haven’t heard from him yet!

In addition to the price changes, the Limo that arrived didn’t have enough seating to accommodate my party. I had spoken with the driver the day before and texted to him the details of the pickup/drop-off/number of passengers (per his request). My party of 10 ended up squeezing into a seating for 8 and I had to ride in front with the driver (who needed a shave and clean clothes). As I spoke with Derrick regarding the bad accommodations, I learned that the original driver had a domestic altercation that resulted in the windows being broken out of the vehicle that we were supposed to have had available. Thus, he informed me that we would have a larger vehicle to return in so that we would definitely be comfortable…..WRONG! Again, we had accommodations for only 8 people and now the Driver chimed in to say that whoever we were speaking with had LIED to us and that all the vehicles are only 8 passenger cars and that he (Derrick) does this ALL the Time….they always end up with too many passengers for the vehicles. Guess I couldn’t get more confirmation than one of his own employees blatantly speaking out against his business tactics.

In conclusion, why did I share this with you? I STRONGLY believe in trust amongst friends and clearly Derrick did not exemplify this with me …… you could’ve been next! Respect is earned…honesty is appreciated….trust is gained….loyalty is returned! “If you succeed in cheating someone, don’t think that the person is a fool. Realize that the person trusted you much more than you deserved.”

For starters they don't answer the phone. And they dont show up once u do schedule
