General Info

Established in 1980, Graham Correctional Center houses more than 1,905 inmates. It is an adult male correctional facility. It provides substance abuse and sex offender treatment services. The center also administers a kidney dialysis program. Graham Correctional Center offers academic and vocational programs through Lake Land Community College. The center provides computer technology, construction occupation and custodial maintenance classes. It additionally conducts life skills development sessions. The center offers prerelease and post-release services. Graham Correctional Center is a part of the Illinois Department of Corrections, which manages several state prisons and juvenile centers. The department operates the Illinois River Correctional Center and the Jacksonville Correctional Center.
