Rusty you must be talking about another daycare ... This daycare is owned by a lady named Viola and run by her daughter Kim Acevedo..... I am one of the drivers and we all have current driver licenses and the required training !

Don't know if their daycare is any good or not HOWEVER, the family that owns it drive without licenses and insurance.... They cause accidents and DO NOT PAY THEIR DEBTS!!!!! Ken makes promises to pay for hitting and destroying other peoples cars and then refuses to answer his phone.... A man that doesn't pay his debts is less than a man...... Apparently KEN (also owner of KENCRETE from White House) feels others should have to cover the debts he occurs while driving without a license, tags or insurance......

Wow. If it isn't obvious that Sandi K. was a disgruntled worker, let me tell you the things i asked from her watching my baby...learn his name. In a span of a few weeks i got other babies bottles, clothes and other things in his bag. I think its crazy that she is accusing these people of not loving on a baby because she would be the first one to put my child down. Ask her right now who my child is and i bet she has no idea. Would you leave your baby with someone who could not remember your baby's name after 6 weeks? I don't think that is too much to ask. Way more important than the allegations that she is bringing to the table, in my opinion. (BTW my baby was not the one who missed a feeding-unless she couldn't remember who she just fed?!?!?!)

I am shocked by the review given by Sandi K. of this excellent center. I am one of the parents at Clairmont, and had complained about Sandi. The director and assistant director assured me they would talk with her. Just because you have credentials as a neonatal nurse doesn't mean you have credentials as a loving nursery worker. I love Clairmont and would not trust my children anyplace else. Sandi did not 'leave' after two months, but was let go before her probationary period was completed. It sounds to me that this is a good example of a disgruntled employee that is on the attack. It's sad when this kind of thing happens.

I went to work for this daycare center after reading positive reviews; I am a retired registered nurse and have worked with infants, both well newborns and sick premies in Neonatal ICU both at Vanderbilt University Hospital. I was hired for the infant nursery at this daycare. Unfortunately, I did not notice the reviews were from 2, 4, and 6 years ago. This is not the same daycare now that the earlier reviews suggest. The carpet in the infant room is filthy!!!! Babies are put on this carpet where they vomit, drool, and people come in and out of this room with shoes that have walked in "God only knows what!" before they enter the room. Yet babies are put on this carpet, not on blankets, but on this bare, filthy carpet. Babies, drool, mouth, and vomit on soft stuffed toys; these toys are not washed and then put back out, they are put away, the given to other babies to play with the next days. The lead teacher speaks roughly to the babies if they are crying to much and tells 2 month olds to "stop that crying, there is nothing wrong with you". Any baby that needs to be held, cuddled, or rocked, according to this teacher is spoiled. I personally fed a baby who was on a three hour feedings and took 7 ounces at a time at 8:45 AM and put down for a nap at 11 AM, and allowed "sleep" thru his next feeding. I went on a 2 and 1/2 hour break at 11:30 until 2;00 pm. I MADE THE MISTAKE OF THINKING HE HAD BEEN FED. He woke up screaming and the other teacher tried to tell me he was just still sleepy; when I checked is daily report, I found he had not been fed for almost six hours. I have seen babies fed on bopies on the floor instead of being held, left to sleep in infant swings, and left to sleep on the floor instead of in their cribs, all of which is expressly forbidden by State Lincensing regulations. I managed to stay at this place for 8 weeks, until I left. I don't understand how this place has a three star rating, I might add until I requested it, there were no names on babies bottles. I worked at two other three star rated daycares since retiring from nursing; this daycare, as far as the infant room goes, absolutely does NOT measure up! I have excellent credentials and references from other teachers I worked with, parents, and Directors at the two three-star facilities where I worked as well as from all of the Hospitals where I have worked, including Vanderbilt University and John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. and has been rated as #1 in the United States year, after year, after year. I would not leave my infant in this facility.
