Horizons at Seven Hills

Michelle Keller is by far the most unprofessional property manager I have ever encountered. Upon a very reputable car repair place discovering chewed wires and paw prints from rats when they lifted up the hood of my car yesterday, I was advised to notify my property manager since I work from home and that is where my car is parked most of the time. I notified Michelle and she claimed she was a Las Vegas native that had never seen nor heard of rats in the area. I have a doctorate degree yet this simply useless and incompetent employee spoke to me as if I was somehow beneath her. Interestingly, I went home and discovered from quite thorough online research that Michelle is absolutely wrong about rats being present in the area. In other words, Michelle is horribly uneducated and ignorant without the self-awareness to realize so. Additionally, since Michelle was hired several months ago, other residents and myself have noted that she is somehow unavailable to answer the clubhouse office's phone during the hours she should be working.

As a result, I just left a voicemail message with her supervisor and regional manager, Jennifer Huerta of FirstService Residential, regarding the unacceptable treatment I received yesterday. If I do not hear back from Jennifer today, I will contact Tina Cox, the director of human resources for FirstService Residential's Nevada division, tomorrow. I will contact ALL relevant human resources staff and supervisors of Michelle until I reach someone and am assured that she will be appropriately disciplined. In fact, I am going to recommend she be fired due to her inability to perform basic duties like answering the phone and treating residents with basic respect. Finally, Michelle should remember that ALL residents, owners AND tenants alike, are the reason she has a job. Whether she likes it or not, she works for myself AND ALL other residents, REGARDLESS of whether said residents rent or own.
