TURMOIL engulfed my inner life when I stumbled upon FHIC. Thankfully, the Lord FREED ME from my sin and powerfully HEALED deep pains on my soul. Now, my life is characterized by abounding PEACE and JOY.

As a wife and mother of three sons five and under, I entered a state hospital psychiatric ward in a catatonic state. The staff observed and diagnosed me as a paranoid schizophrenic. They gave me a 50-50 chance of coming back to reality. For the next 22 years I was between state hospital stays and medication. I felt hopeless and helpless. I seemed like I was on a merry-go-round with no brass ring. Then in 1987 my sister found a doctor wanting to treat me for Bipolar Disorder. I had been diagnosed incorrectly all those years. He placed me on the proper medication.



When I was a new Christian I had read Isaiah 61:1 and Psalm 147:3. I really believe that Jesus Christ could and would make me whole. Medication took care of my hardware, but I needed deep inner healing for my software. I was enthused and excited about my continued healing.



Though ministry I realized I had several children (alters). I have given them names as I spend time with Jesus and them. My inner children are at different stages of healing. Jesus lets me know who is to have healing (integration). I the parent, bring that child to Jesus. He picks her up to sit on His lap and to show her love. For instance, Jeannie (my child of anger) has had an abundance of anger. Her healing is on going. She now knows Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord. Jeannie knows the Father���s love and that she is chosen. Since she has spent time on Jesus��� lap, her head on his chest and a lot of dialogue, her rage and throwing things have stopped. Her anger is now minimal. Jeannie has been recognized, healed and integrated.

I was a seminary student, when I discovered that my adopted Dad had raped me from ages 3-12. I couldn���t read my school textbooks and my concentration was almost non-existent. I sought counseling at Freedom & Healing in Christ and discovered that I had Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Through counseling my memories have been reframed and healed. I was able to completely forgive my Dad before he died. My DID no longer exists - my ���girls��� have merged! I now enjoy life and am having fun! Why Freedom & Healing in Christ? Because the Holy Spirit guides the work!!!!!
