Primary Care
It was a photo that was the last straw â€“ I saw myself and winced, thinking that if I looked like that in a photo, others probably saw me that way, too. The search was on â€“ I knew I needed some â€œrejuvenationâ€ and started to research procedures and practices. I started with Fraxel and saw results* immediately, but decided that my eyes and chin and neck needed something that would give me a bigger overall benefit. Having colleagues (physicians, nurses and medical device manufacturers) in dermatology and aesthetics was a help, but found some opinions that varied drastically. One doctor wanted to treat upper and lower eyes; another told me I was not a good candidate for lower lids, so my eye doctor referred me to an ocular plastic surgeon that was my tie-breaker â€“ no to lower lid surgery. Along the way I asked my esthetician about all the “faces” she sees from Concord to Pleasanton and she recommended Dr. Stompro. My primary care physician also referred me, and others I met along the way who had positive experiences with his practice. When I saw him for my consult, he showed me what could be done from various perspectives and approaches from conservative to more detailed procedures. His concern, care, honesty and ability to be genuine and authentic with me was very comforting and my trust was already building after one visit. He had some very innovative solutions for my lower lids, and I did not feel pressured or rushed or like I was being â€œsoldâ€ . Breast Lift
One of the defining characteristics of beauty, femininity and sexuality of the female figure is a woman’s breasts and desire of a beautiful, sensual, feminine figure. Mastopexy, also known as a breast lift, is a procedure that is designed to re-contour drooping breast that have lost tone after having children by removing excess skin and relocating the nipple and aerola to a higher position. Incisions are used that follow the breasts natural contour keeping the nipple/aerola attached to its natural nerve and blood supply preserving normal sensation and the ability to breastfeed in the future. Rhinoplasty
Many patients have a fear that the nasal change will be so great as to create a subject of discussion among family members and friends. Actually, following a well done rhinoplasty, neither the patient nor the patient’s friends and relatives usually remember the shape of the patient’s original nose a few weeks following surgery. The patient is also warned that there may be individuals who will not wish to acknowledge that the patient’s appearance has improved and may disappoint the patient by making an unrestrained comment such as, “I liked your nose better the way it was before”, or, “I didn’t see anything wrong with your nose”.

The original practice dates back 40 years to 1972 when Leonard Epstein, M.D. established the practice in Hayward, California. He distinguished himself as innovative, imaginative technically gifted surgeon. As his reputation grew- he was the first surgeon to perform liposuction in California- the practice expanded and as one of the busiest practices in the Bay Area. Dr. Epstein was searching for a top prospect to join his practice. As a part time clinical professor at U.C. San Francisco, he met a rising star Juris Bunkis, M.D., a junior professor fresh from his Hayward training; with groundbreaking work in breast reconstruction. Laser Resurfacing
This operation is designed to remove excess skin and bagginess to give the eyes a more youthful appearance. It must be understood that most of the wrinkles around the eyes are etched into the skin and cannot be removed by this procedure. A laser resurfacing procedure may be desired if the patient would like to decrease wrinkles.

Dermabrasion
Various methods have been devised to minimize fine facial wrinkles, sun damage, aging or acne scars. A face lift or blepharoplasty alone cannot remove wrinkles and are especially inadequate for the fine wrinkles around the mouth, eyes and forehead. The chemical peel, dermabrasion and Erbium laser skin resurfacing procedures were devised to minimize these surface irregularities.
Facial Implants
If you are bothered by a small chin, plastic surgery with facial implants may benefit you. While any area of the facial structure can be augmented with implants, the chin is one of the most common sites for facial implants. In general, facial implants bring balance and better proportion to the structural appearance they define by increasing projection and creating more distinct features.
Chin Augmentation
A surgeon must consider the patient’s entire facial profile when planning nasal surgery. Patients with moderate sized noses, but very weak chins will appear to have much larger noses than they actually have. In such cases, it is impossible to reduce the nose sufficiently to provide a satisfactory profile, but facial balance may be restored by simultaneously performing a chin augmentation. As illustrated by the photographs in this section, additional ancillary procedures such as a liposuction of the neck or a face lift may enhance the visual appearance of the rhinoplasty even further by restoring facial balance. Occasionally, if in addition to a weak chin, severe malpositioning of the jaws and teeth is present, an evaluation of the dental abnormalities by an oral surgeon will be recommended before making a final decision about the nose. Conversely, it may occasionally be necessary to reduce the size of an excessively large chin in conjunction with the nasal surgery if the ideal profile is to be obtained for the patient.

Skin Care
There is no downtime after a Morpheus 8 treatment, however patients may experience some redness from the treatment that will subside in 1-3 days. Patients must stick to a recommended skin care routine and avoid going in the sun.
