        Thank you for checking out Sunrise Donuts and Sweets. We are a small bakery where everything is prepared fresh daily onsite. Our customers often tell us that our donuts are the very best they have ever eatten. Here at Sunrise we treat you like family in a relaxed no frills atmosphere. Nothing too fancy, Lots of smiles and great donuts, cupcakes, cheesecakes etc. We look forward to seeing you soon.

        Our cakes are so moist and fresh that we often get asked if we make wedding cakes. Our response is "We makes cakes you can take to a wedding!" We do not make elaborate super fancy $1000.00 wedding cakes. We do however make nice affordable wedding cakes, cupcakes etc. Our cakes are BAKED and DECORATED the same day... even if we have to work 24 hrs straight :) We want you to have a wonderful moist and delicious cake on your special day. You can check out some of our cakes on our Facebook or call to schedule a tasting and we can sit down to discuss ideas. We will do all we can to make your day stress free and beautiful.We also offer various birthday and special occasion cakes, pastry platters for holiday or corporate events, cupcake and cakepops display, and custom made gifts. Because we are a small bakery, we request as much notice as possible on all orders, rather it be several dozen donuts or any other type of goodie.

        These are real donuts, not sugar sweet puffs of air. The cake donuts are like my grandmother made when I was little. I dont get to drive over there that often, but when I do, I always buy a few dozen. I had a cupcake from there a few weeks ago, it was a strawberry daquiri and it was to die for ... not to mention the fritters OMG.. heaven! Last weekend I tried a pumpkin loaf. WOW WOW I thought I was in Vermont on vacation.. Im glad I took it to go or I would have bought them all. I plan to order a whole loaf this weekend. The only downside is if you dont order in advance your not likely going to get your favorite because they dont make the same flavors everyday, but then again, you may discover a new favorite (how I got the pumpkin loaf ). The lady that works there told me that they have too many choices to make them all everyday, they dont have enough space in the kitchen and they just love making up new recipes all the time. I LOVE SUNRISE DONUTS!!! You reallly have to goSarah

        I Love this bakery!! My husband and I have been several times, we love that the selection changes all the time, they always have the usuals, he likes Boston Cream and it is bigger than his mouth..and hes a big guy! I got a pumpkin loaf with a spiced cream cheese Sat, it was to die for! They are a little more expensive than a regular donut shop, but they are huge and made fresh, so you get what you pay for and more. And they have puff pastry with fresh fruit OMG!!!! They are open 7 days a week at 4am till 6pm, if you call them, they will hold anything for you. if you havent been, you are missing out.

        Best donuts ever! Raised and cake donuts,cupcakes, cakes, danish, fritters,muffins and cinnamon rolls and breads, coffee is great. You can tell they make them by hand everyday cause they are all different sizes and shapes, the filled ones are loaded with cream or jelly. They have different flavors every day, my favorite is Almond Joy and I LOVE the Apple Fritters, they are HUGE! Call the day before they will bake you these AMAZING banana coconut breads and hold them for you. A few weeks ago the cashier told me that they make a lot more than when they first opened so now they stay open till 6pm 7 days a week. She said it varies daily, but they are not busy in the afternoon, so they may start closing earlier,so sad! but we call before driving from Hampton.BTW: I HAVE TO DIAL 1-804 TO CALL or it says the number is disconnected..weird!!!! Eitherway, It is worth the drive! Service is friendly, its clean, they really care and want to make you happy. I hope they open one in Hampton..PLEASE

        Best unique donuts ever and they are HUGE. I love that they are made daily, you can tell the difference. they are not overly sweet and full of air. The girls that work there are so nice and helpful. LOVE YOUR COFFEE
