Community Urgent Care of Hartselle

Went to Urgent Care about headaches that were constant for a week. Saw the doctor and it seemed like he was just trying to rush me out the door. He did the "open mouth say ahh" thing, and asked me a couple questions. Gave me a prescription and not once told me anything about what might be wrong with me. I was given some kind of business card-looking thing as I left.

Wnet to Wal-Mart to get the prescription filled. The pharmacist told us, after we had already spent time waiting for it to be filled, that the medication was $900, and we were supposed to be given some kind of "coupon" that reduced it to $25. Oh. Well that would have been nice to know. Wait around longer, come back, and the pharmacist tells us the coupon has expired. They called the doctor and the doctor gave them a website to visit to get a new one. They gave us the wrong address. So we had to google the right address, and finally got the right coupon. Oh wait, no we didn't. It was expired too. The pharmacist then had to call the doctor back and get a new prescription.

Wnet home, started taking the pills, whatever. Next day, I went to work and noticed that the side effects were kicking in, notably drowsiness. Between that and the headaches, I couldn't function at work. I called the doctor to see if my condition was bad enough that they would approve a Leave of Absence. They put me on hold and eventually hung up. I called back again when I could (at work, mind you), during business hours, and I got voice mail. Got up early the next day to make sure I called them as soon as they opened. They told me the doctor was out of the day, but I could talk to another doctor. I said ok, they took my name and number. Never called me back. Don't really appreciate paying money so people can toy with my life.

I was discharged without being told my diagnoses and given two prescriptions, one of which I can't even take. Upon telling the staff of my situation, I was treated with even more disrespect and sent on my way with that same two prescriptions. This behavior is completely reprehensible for a doctor's office and borderline criminally negligent.

I love Hartselle Urgent Care & Lori Henry. The Drs. and Staff are great and very professional. I have got better care from them than any Drs. that I have ever had. They take the time to explain every thing and if you need to have any extra test or procedures done they you get quick results. I use Lori Henry as my regular Doctor now and she is the Best.

I love Hartselle Urgent Care. The Dr's and staff are very nice and give wonderful medical care. I would recomend them to anyone. If you dont have insurance they are also very affordable.
