I had been looking for a maltipoo puppy for almost 6 months and I stumbled upon this website after almost being scammed online. I was impressed when they promptly contacted me after I sent an email inquiry regarding their maltipoos so I went down to get one that same day (an immediate follow-up seems to be a lacking trait in many businesses nowadays). I was happy that they still had three maltipoo puppies to choose from by the time I made it there 4 hours later - even though I was only able to take just one. I honestly have no complaints at all and I couldn't have asked for more personalized attention.

I couldn’t be happier with the havapoo puppy I purchased from Westchester Puppies. The store was refreshingly clean and well kept, the puppies were active and looked clean and healthy and I really had an a most pleasant experience with the sales personnel. Even my veterinarian told me how cute and healthy my puppy was after the first checkup. I am proud of my puppy and I would not hesitate to recommend Westchester Puppies to anyone. Happy Customer!

An email I received and a response I wrote to the company today about how disappointed I was and emotionally upset.

I drove two hours to pick up a Siamese kitten when I was told by a women they were $3000 each I was shocked and extremely disappointed. When I asked if there was any other options I was told this was it, take it or leave it.

I’m not sure who is in charge at your organization but this is extremely bad business practice and completely unethical. I had a terrible experience and will have absolutely no problem writing the review in Google about my horrific emotional experience. I feel your company tried to take advantage of me financially and my emotional attachment to the kitten at the time of my visit.

I bought my puppy from them and couldn't be happier. Everyone in the store is great!! They are all so helpful and they are the cleanest pet store I was ever in. She has a Vet there every day to check each puppy and kitten. The owner loves dogs and cats and takes care of each one as if they were her own!!

Took home my precious bengal kitten from here last month and I had a more than positive experience. They impressed me from the start with how quickly and attentively they responded to my emails! I had sent out so many emails to other breeders only to get either no response or a response to "text only". This place was not far from Manhattan so obviously I was glad that I could see the kittens in real life first without having to commit. I saw 5 really precious bengal kittens - except for maybe one which kept climbing out of my arms and wanting to stay as far away from me as possible lol. I selected my kitten with no pressure from the staff and I was happy they let me play with the kittens for as long as I did...it was a hard decision but I was able to narrow it down to one. The process was smooth, professional and without a hiccup. The staff constantly kept coming around and cleaning up after the kittens and this made me feel like they really cared for the animals they had there. I am happy I found them. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect or a healthier kitten. Thank you to Luis for being so darn patient with me!!

Thank you Westchester puppies and kittens for my beautiful British Longhair kitten ''Winnie'' aka Pooh Bear. I am so in love with this little guy. He is the most adorable and the sweetest personality ever. He is the perfect little family member...very friendly and loves to hang out with us. I am very satisfied with my purchase and I will shop at Westchester Puppies and Kittens again.

Absolutely LOVED this store and its staff. I went in last week wanting to buy a puppy but unsure about what kind I wanted. Not only was a customer service rep very patient with me as we discussed everything I wanted, but she also made some good suggestions and allowed me to play with a few puppies until I finally decided on a cute maltipoo. The price was reasonable for a good pet store and the place was very clean and spacious. The pets here are obviously treated very well. Furthermore, the very friendly manager then gave me tips on pet care and even the name of a vet where I got a free first visit. All round, excellent store, pets and customer service. And now Choco (my puppy) and I are very happy together.

A huge thumbs up and then some for Westchester Puppies! I bought my beautiful maltese Jada from here in June and I am extremely satisfied with her. Alex, especially, was instrumental in helping us select our puppy. I was actually looking to get her a sister and I saw the reviews on here and felt compelled to share my experience. Our maltese puppy Jada is the first puppy we ever owned and she could not have been more perfect. We initially went in for a different breed (cavalier) but the knowledgeable staff guided us into getting a breed that better suited our needs. As adorable as their cavalier puppies were, we really needed something small and non-shedding and our little baby maltese most certainly fit the bill! This store did an amazing job of giving us the 101 on puppy training and the general care-taking of our puppy and their aftercare has been amazing as well. We will be getting a sister for our Jada within the next few weeks and we will look nowhere else! This is the only place we will consider after our great experience the first time around!

Come on people, it’s 2015, you go to a store in New York and don’t expect to pay a decent price for a decent puppy? That is ridiculous. A few months ago, I was looking for a jack Russell EVERYWHERE. I browsed online and saw “available puppies” in MA, out of state, in shelters and even imported from Africa. The shelters had jack russell mixes…Not what I was looking for…The “breeders” originally from Africa had purebred, perfectly photographed jack russells but wanted money wired to them…Red flag/Scam right there…The breeders out of state had jack russells but wanted to fly them to me…Not interested in flying a puppy on a plane sorry…And two breeders in MA wanted to know everything about me (maybe even my last/next cycle) before I even asked any questions…Like most new yorkers, time is not something I play around with so that was a no-go. I finally somehow found this store online and called up in the morning. No answer. Strange…left a message. Call was returned. Told me they had a Jack Russell. How much? $1500. Drove there within 3-4 hours. Puppy was actually as described. Pulled out my credit card. He is at home with me now. Done. Impeccable service. Puppy=worth every penny and perhaps even more!

We bought our Baby Maltese from Westchester Puppies in mid April. We couldn't be happier with our baby. She is well tempered and was easy to train. We live 3 1/2 hours away and made arrangements to purchase our puppy via the internet. The staff was very helpful and very courteous when we picked her up. I would recommend getting a puppy from them.

If you want to support puppy mills, you will buy from this store. I ask that you please google "puppy mills" before you buy, and know that the word "breeder" is a loose term for this store.

Don't buy any animals from this place. They deserve no stars!! Here's the scenario, I was quoted a price of a Rottweiler puppy and when I got there the next day I was charged a higher price. According to the person working there named Lauren she reassured me that they will work with me over the phone with the price and when I got there the next day the lower priced dog was sold (how convenient) so I was left with making a choice with a higher priced dog and they never gave me any kind of negotiation, they acted as though they didn't know what I was talking about. To put the icing on the cake they sold me a dog with Kennel Cough and told me they will not pay my vet bills or give me a refund because my vet has to deem the dog unfit, that to me will be cruel for the animal to deem him unfit because of Kennel Cough. My issue is they knowingly sold me a sick animal and never told me he was sick. I spent over $1600 with them and they told me the dog just has a cold. That's how they treat their animals and the owner a little short person told me to take the dog back so I had to get police assistance. Hate that place and they need to go out of business. I will see Westchester Puppies of Hartsdale, NY in court if I don't get my refund.

This place sells puppy mill dogs. They also advertise a lower price, then if you go to look at the animals they are significantly more expensive, or even DOUBLE the price. Dishonest people doing dishonest work.
