Sorry to report that this store CLOSED FOR GOOD on April 13, 2015. Such a shame...

the store you are referring to is in a strip mall on Central Ave. next to Jenny Craig. It's called "By the Yard" Hartsdale Fabrics has never been located next to Jenny Craig at least not in the ten years Ihave been going there. I'm sorry you received such rude service. There is no excuse for people to treat a potential customer badly. But in this economy, please exercise extreme caution in getting your facts straight before you malign someone's business on-line. And, by the way, Hartsdale Fabrics is truly a gem and has been for over thirty years.

your clerks were rude and didn't like to be interrupted from standing around. My daughter was interested in outdoor fabric use and one of them showed my daughter 6 samples of fabric for outdoor use which she didn't care for. My daughter then started to look at other fabric and knew that she wanted a Waverly pattern. She walked into the back room and started to look through a sample book and the person in the back room was reluctant to show my daughter fabric books saying the material was too expensive and that there were other samples in the front of the store which she looked at again and didn't like, when she returned to the back room the sample book had been put away. I thought they treated her that way because she wasn't dressed up or that she was Mexican. But they treated another woman the same way. People, you are in trouble in this economy if you think you can get away with being rude to people with charge cards. I was in your store only because I was going to Jenny Craig next door and I saw that there was a fabric store there. I went in to browse around and reccomended your store to my daughter. My mistake, we will shop on line. The Waverly brand material you sell and have to send for is on line and I can order it from our store in Wisconsin. You are unique only in your choice of employees.
