I was very disappointed in the service that I received from this business. When my daughter and I first visited to inquire about getting straps sewn into a dress for a school dance, the lady was very rude, never asked how she could help us, just looked at my daughter and told her to get the dress on. We left the dress on a Wednesday and said that her dance was the following Friday. I told her that I wanted to pick it up several days before. She told me to call the beginning of the week and we would set up a time. I called the following Tuesday morning (Monday was a holiday). It took awhile for her to find my ticket. Then she said that I was not supposed to come until Friday. I asked if there was any way she could have it ready that Wednesday evening. She refused with a simple "No". I was shocked and asked if she really would not do what she had promised a week ago! I said that I would have to come in and get the dress and figure out what to do next. She said "OK". Incredibly rude and short with me, no apologies for not letting me know when I dropped the dress off that it could not be done in one week. I was in total shock. I have never been treated that way by anyone at a business. I went immediately to pick up the dress. She handed it to me without one word. I know that I was not a big customer, but she was charging me more than the cost of the dress just for straps! I feel that every customer should be important and be treated with respect. This put me into an incredible bind several days before my daughter's dance and was totally unnecessary. Sewing straps onto a dress should take less than 30 minutes for a professional and could have been done when I originally dropped the dress off, especially considering that I had to take off of work and drive an hour to get there. I learned my lesson the hard way and will go elsewhere in the future.
