Chiropractic Adjustments

Spinal Decompression
First, it is important to know that there are no drugs, injections, or specialized imaging studies administered in order to receive decompression therapy. Treatments feel like a stretching of the neck or the back and do not involve and twisting, cracking or popping of the joints. At our office, we have 2 decompression suites, each with it's own table, so your treatment is delivered in the privacy of your own room while you watch TV or listen to music. They last about 15-25 minutes and each visit builds on the one before to increase the ability of your spine to move and accommodate to the decompressions. Your chiropractic doctor will plan and monitor your progress as you move through each treatment protocol.

Acupressure
Laser: Laser light can also be applied as well as a variety of or acupressure tools to apply stimulation to the points. Laser is good, and as a light, no sensation is felt by the patient at all. Laser is used on children and babies for care who are unable to sit still for needles. The light is applied directly to the surface of the skin and held in contact for 15-30 seconds at each point.
