Worst experience ever! !! Mickey mouse operation,customer service is not a priority . They don't answer the phone, if they do you're on hold for 25 minutes. Poor communication and cust service. They don't care.

The Studio at Painful Pleasures is amazing. They have the best prices and the best service out of any place I have been to. The doctor on staff is a pleasure to deal with and again, you can't beat their prices anywhere else you go. Thanks Painful Pleasures, it was a pleasure and I look forward to the next time I go back!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I got the living social deal. Everything was going well for the past few months. And then when it came time for me to pay extra sessions they increased the price by over $20 per session even though the original amount was written on my paperwork. She said that price was wrong even though I was quoted that amount 5 months ago. I told her why should I have to suffer, and pay the price difference because her staff was telling me the wrong price for months. I told her that was not good business practices, and she said when I get my own business I can run it how I like. Mind you this was in front of two other customers. I asked to speak with a manager, and she said she was the COO. Please do not waste your time and money it is clear they do not care about customers, and only about trying to get as much money as possible. Here I am half way through my tattoo removal hoping I can find another place who will finish where they left off. How unsettling smh. She told me I don't have to come back... I still have half of my tattoo left I need more sessions. She said none of the other customers complained about the price increase. I politely let her know my concern was my tattoo removal, and the price, and not how other customer responded to the news of having to pay more. So unprofessional save your time, money, and the pain. They definitely named their shop correct with the first word because they are just that ... PAINFUL!!!!

I recently ordered from Painful Pleasures for the first time but had a couple questions/concerns. So I contacted customer support and they were extremely helpful in assisting me and my jewelry needs and making sure I am getting exactly what I was looking for. Painful Pleasures is a great company and I suggest ordering from them for your piercing and tattoo needs.

When I ordered from Painful Pleasures I found their staff to be Knowledgeable and Friendly. The price was excellent and shipping was fast. I will definitely be ordering from Painful Pleasures again.

I reside in Latin America and they were very helpful for two reasons: I can purchase many brands in one only place, and Marc, the owner, could understand my needs and particullarities of my country regarding shipping and customs.

My business grew up with them, and I also reccommended PP to some friends in other countries, who keep purchasing from them and find PP very useful

After careful review and research, I selected Painful Pleasures to pierce my daughter's ears. She was so very excited and the piercer did such a great job. He took his time and must have marked her ear a couple times before we realized one ear is higher and bigger than the other. He made sure to put the piercing where it would be symmetrical as she grew. At one point my daughter looked at me while the piercer was massaging her ears and she didn't even realize he had pierced it! No infections, no drama with cleaning. My daughter tells everyone she got her ears pierced at Painful Pleasures.

I ordered from Painful Pleasures about a month ago, received notice the next day that my order had been received and was processing. They took the money out of my account THE SAME DAY but never sent what I ordered. I waited ten days, hoping that maybe the email about tracking just got lost, then decided to call the number they left on the website. I left my name, number, my reason for calling and I was EXTREMELY polite. I gave them two days to call me back, then decided to call again. The phone was disconnected and the call would not go through. I said screw it and called PayPal to file a claim. They said that they would contact Painful Pleasures and give them ten more days to either send my money back or send a tracking number, if they didn't comply, then PayPal would just refund my money. All I can is thank god I used PayPal or this would not have been settled this quick. I never got any notice from Painful Pleasures about why or how my order didn't get sent or why they just decided to take my money without sending what I ordered. This business is extremely unprofessional and it is completely disgusting that they took my money ASAP but never sent me my stuff. They should be embarrassed of how they conduct their 'business' and I for one will never shop here again.

I love Painful Pleasures! I've never seen so much unique jewelry in one place before. They're definitely true to their word about having one of the world's largest selections of body jewelry, and that's in addition to everything else they sell, like tattoo and piercing supplies, apparel, books, DVDs, and so much more. I bought some gorgeous hand-carved mother of pearl earrings (www.painfulpleasures.com/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=7955) from them over the summer, and everyone comments about how beautiful they are whenever I wear them. I'll definitely be shopping at Painfulpleasures.com for gifts this holiday season; they have something for just about everyone on my list!

Everything I have received has been exactly as what was dipicted, and if not, they\'re more than willing to help sort out whatever issue you have. Will DEFINITELY be buying from them from now on! Painful Pleasures is awesome, I love their staff, always friendly and charming on the phone. They are amazing for a few reasons:

1. Their jewelry is awesome, I'm a normal girl (no stretched gauges or tatts) and get comments on their jewelry whereever I wear them (earrings, necklaces pendants, a few other piercings).

2. They do Laser Tattoo Removal for the best prices in the area. Dr. Briggs is the main doctor and they use the RevLite Laser which is apparently the gold standard in the industry.



I would recommend Painful Pleasures to anyone and everyone.

Painful Pleasures is the best supplier for tattoo and piercing shops and artists. They have the largest selection of products available at the guaranteed best prices. I order about every week or so and never have any problems. Most of the time I get my order in 2-3 days. You can check out their location and studio and see how well the place operates.

Stay far away from these people! Shady and unethical. Wish I'd read online ratings before trying to order from them. I ordered a custom gold piece last week. Received 2 confirmation emails from painfulpleasures.com accepting the order and they took the money from my bank account. Two days later they emailed me asking for $60 more before they make the item, because "the price of gold went up." (Which, in reality it did not; the general price of gold actually went down in the month prior.) I responded agreeing to their terms because I wanted the item & it was hard to find; but I let them know how unhappy I was with the price increase. They then cancelled my order, even though I agreed. So I requested an immediate refund of the money they already took from my bank, and the owner said they already refunded it (which they did not). Very poor business practices! Should be zero stars.

My experience was horrible & doesnt even deserve any stars. I had a bad experience years ago (first ever purchase) and told myself id never do business again with this company. After all these years I found an item that I couldnt find anywhere else so I took a chance thinking maybe this 2nd time around things would be better.. Well they were worse! I got sent the wrong size jewelry due to improper labeling on their site. Ive gone back/forth with their owner Marc who would rather do whatever it takes to try and prove he's in the right which he clearly is not, instead of acting like a respectable/professional business owner. I followed their guidelines for returning the item and asked for a simple exchange in the correct size or a refund if they did not have that size. I have heard nothing, weeks later after I keep emailing I get a reply from what appears to be this guys wife telling me they didnt get the package, maybe it was lost in the mail, etc. There's no way! And from many other reviews/horror stories out there apparently this is just one of many tricks they try to pull on customers. I replied with all formal docs and stated if this wasnt resolved in a few days id seek further action. This initial order was placed a month ago! Ive contacted my bank, BBB and others to make sure this doesnt continue happening to others. Some people should be ashamed in their character and how they do their 'business'. My advice, STEER CLEAR of Painful Pleasures unless you want a similar painful experience.
