Best Friends Animal Clinic

This owner of this vet clinic has become very inattentive in the care of my dogs. So much so that I had to take one of my dogs to a specialist for a 2nd opinion because the owner of Best Friends never took the time to listen to me about my dog's issues nor did she run any diagnostic tests to help treat my dog. The specialist was shocked when records were sent and nothing had been done by the owner prior to me seeking this expensive 2nd opinion. If the lack of concern for this dog wasn't bad enough, my other dog had a sore, infected paw pad that took the vet owner at Best Friends 2+weeks to address. This wound required surgery. At the time of checking the surgery site the paw was found to be infected still. Today my dog was supposed to be rechecked again by the vet. Unfortunately she ignored my dog because she was overlooked and doing surgery on another animal. So she asked a non reliable vet tech to recheck the surgery site on my dog instead. The reason I say non reliable in describing this vet tech is because this same tech has spoken to me on the phone about my dog and I had asked her to give messages to the owner vet. Of course I never heard back from my phone call because the tech never shared my concerns. With today's disaster and having this non licensed tech evaluate my dog's post surgery recheck, I wouldn't be surprised if this is illegal in the state. I am pretty sure a tech must be licensed to make diagnostic reviews/records.
Do yourself a favor and find another vet office when considering becoming a client of this clinic. The owner/vet of Best Friends needs to step away from this office if she can no longer compassionately care and show concerns for the animals she's supposed to be treating.
