Accurate Transmissions

This is an old location that closed in 2008. In response to the customer below, This customer had work done over 3 years ago and has an unrelated leak in a transfer case housing, the transmission repair has lasted for 2 years past the warranty and is still operating. They attempted to extort the business and demanded $1000 or they would write negative reviews. Its a shame when people abuse the internet and websites allow it.

Dishonest and crappy work! Took our truck there in 2015 when they were located in Martinsburg, WV. They did a rebuild and then we took it back a couple of weeks later telling them that there was a leak. Said they fixed the leak issue in the transmission. Charged us $1400 for the rebuild. Took it back a few weeks later still leaking. Told us there was no leak! It continued to leak and my husband was unable to find the leak until a friend mechanic laid under the truck while my husband poured transmission fluid into it so they could see where the leak was coming from. We had to take it to another mechanic to be repaired correctly. The adapter between the transmission and the transfer case was cracked and it looks like Accurate Transmissions used an impact wrench on it and tightened it too much and caused it to crack. Also 4 out of 6 bolts were missing. They knew we wouldn't notice the bolts missing because they were hidden. We'll never go there again! They totally ripped us off!
