Teeth Cleaning
We have adjusted our schedules to reduce the volume of patients that we are seeing in a day. This will ensure sufficient time between patients to properly clean and disinfect our treatment rooms. Please note that routine hygiene appointments (dental cleanings) will not begin until at least Phase 2 of the “safer at home” protocol.

After teeth eruption, fluoridated toothpaste or mouthwash and fluoride treatments during your preventative dental visits still have a positive effect on your teeth. It strengthens the enamel and reduces the chance of decay.

Crowns
During endodontic treatment the nerve, blood and nutrient supply is removed. This will cause the tooth to become very brittle and prone to fracturing which can result in the need to extract the tooth. In many cases, a full crown restoration may be needed to prevent this from happening.
Bridges

Root Canal Treatment
If Dr. Bawa or Dr. Saxena has recommended that a post & core and crown be done on a tooth that you have had endontically treated, it is necessary to have this procedure done very soon after your root canal has been completed. Until the crown can be done, be very careful with the tooth.

Most causes are from the bacteria growing in the mouth. Cigarette, cigar or pipe smoke contributes to the bacteria growth. Not brushing and flossing regularly, gum disease, dentures or partials not cleaned and even alcoholic beverages can cause bad breath.
