Quest Diagnostics

No One was waiting when I walked in at ten, two technicians were chatting away, then called me in. She was arguing with me saying I needed to fast but I mentioned it said non fasting on the slip. I told her I had small veins and could she use a small needle. I asked her if she could look at both arms to determine what one was best, But she did neither. Just used the arm closest and most convenient to her, and stuck the needle in and It hurt like never before, she started routing around and it was excruciating. She didn't seem to care, blamed me for moving, said they only have one size needle, and even so it is not appropriate to use a smaller one. I am 65 and she should not have made me feel like I do not matter. The majority of the population is older. It was a horrible experience. I am a social worker, and a radiation therapist and have dedicated myself to giving quality healthcare, and to be treated like I don't matter is truly upsetting to me
