On 2/4/2015 I adopted a dog from your location and today when I took him in for his neuter appointment, I was told that the dog has heart worm and that in addition to the $90.00 it cost today, it is going to cost another $300.00 to treat him for heart worm. At this time he is coughing and throwing up. How is it that you can allow a family to adopt a pet that is so sick he may not survive the treatment and then to have a family having to go through the grief of losing a pet. Why was this pet not checked properly prior to be allowed to be adopted? I feel that this is an injustice to adopt a pet only to find out that it may not survive.
