At Emerald City Animal Hospital, our dental cleanings are so much more! We perform all procedures under full anesthesia and we have a full dental suite for extractions and mass removals. Even if we do not perform a dental on your dog, you should be asking your veterinarian a few questions about how they provide dental care. The safest protocol is to do full anesthesia, and if extractions are needed, dental radiographs should be offered and available. Also be sure and ask your vet if they have a dental drill. Many extractions that are needed for your pets health require a drill! Read more about dental procedures below.
