Dr. Galvarino held a General Surgery Residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from 1969 to 1971. In 1974 he completed his Residency in Psychiatry at the William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Galvarino also offers Christian oriented psychiatric care and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

He graduated as a Doctor of Medicine Cum Laude from Emory University School of Medicine in 1973 where he was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society. He completed both his Internship in Internal Medicine in 1974 and his Residency in Psychiatry in 1977 at Oakland Naval Hospital.
